Argh, gome. what I meant to say (unless u mean same too), it wont combo sometimes, meaning they will block 5HS or icespike. XXX charac wide open > 5K > 5HS (blocked or hit) > icespike (blocked or hit) I think this has even happened w/ crouching opponents (which means wider hitbox and hit stun). BUT I cant recall, remeber if it was the case w/ crouch ... so lets just go w/ stand. Ok, my theory so far on this : 5HS has a weird hitbox. I think the far end comes out later then the earlier part. But for the 5HS to connect of 5K, it has too hit w/ the section before the end of 5HS. With regards to icespike not connecting after 5K,5HS, it could be a visual "deception" and your explaination above is proof. eg. 5HS, opponent reels from hit AND blocks crouching on reaction (crouch = wider hitbox) and thus blocks the icespike. Ok, so we are a little closer on that. Still leaves the far S, icespike on airborns left. Come start, working those brain cells. Its fun! PS. Im hitting 5K with the middle-tipp, not close. hope that helps in case you want to reproduce situation.

Ok, this has been bugging me since #R, all of you know it, have experienced this, if seen it in jap. vids etc etc. What I wanna know, can any 1 explain, have a theory why, if you go for far S > icespike on airborn opponents, people can sometimes tech b4 the spike hits. Another thing that annoys me, is 5K> 5HS> Icespike. Now I experienced already, that 5HS or Icespike would on occasion whiff and be blocked. 5HS I think I know why, but wth is up with Icespike after 5HS not hitting?! I can understand if Gunflame after 2HS doesnt connect, since its distance dependent (as further away the flame starts, as unlikely it´ll combo). But Icespike always comes out a predetermined spot, same speed. So what gives?

QFT, nuff said about the match up. One thing I like to remind people, most slayers have no clue when they get free damage, when its RIGHT IN THEIR FACE FOR THE TAKING. And slayer w/ 50% Tension, reduces Dizzys (safe) options until that 50% Tension is gone. It becomes a whole new ballgame (similar to SSF2X Ryu having his super hadoken full charged), and one thats not at all in Dizzys favour.

Ah, the infamous "infinite" pin, pressing of #R Lore. Sry, but besides her "unblockable", its BS too. Top japanese players all knew how to get out. You can do this on someone not familiar w/ Dizzys pins, rushdown. Good for 1 x but if you gonna do repeated attempts in 1 rush, you´re gonna mess up most likely. Its also much harder to do then in #R & /. PS. Trainings mode options are not perfect. It does not simulate human behaviour, reaction perfectly. I love talking in riddles btw.

Then jump w/ FD. FD in air will reduce hitbox. Just more proof, Dizzys hitbox is too messed up.

If u like sunny weather, friendly folks, good food (Thai cuisine is good AND "sharp" aka #!"§)(%& Hot! Just a small advise. Stay away from the "known" places like Pattaya beach etc.. Unless you like lots of hookers, like to sightsee Little Russia & Germany alike (includes lots of white people that look very roasted & w/ big beer bellys). Better go into the jungle up North. Chiangmei, etc. Visit mountains, crocodile fram, etc. Otherwise, Id recommend S Korea if youre deciding to do a little gaming too. PS. Why not visit Singapore and Malaysia together instead? You´d get GG play, shopping and beach, sightseing all in 1 deal. And English communication is excellent down there. Was there for a few years. It tops all other countrys in SE Asia cept Philippines.

Got fed up w/ testa changing so much in AC + winning easy mode w/o much effort pissed him off or something like that. So he plays HOS now and a little Robo, but now sure on RO (might look at RO again after watching all the Dogura action on a-cho). HOS = pure rushdown fun + skill character. You work for your wins. No Auto win a la Eddie, Testa, Pot, Jam etc. And HOS only knows 1 direction to move > Forward. Attack attack attack. Acd loves that about HOS and the meter system. Loki plays HOS too as 2nd character, besides Johnny. Naw, didnt have a tournament. Dont do that normally + no recording stuff. So much to say about plenty of people, but I´ll just stop here. PS. Koji dropped Jam and plays Ky now. He felt it took no skill to win w/ Jam, so he wants to develop his skills by actually working for the win. Mad respect to Koji & Acd, I´d say for dropping they their characters for something more fun, challenging.

youre forgetting the Stun into Jam death combo each round from 1 single combo. If the Dizzys were crap, then I wouldnt care. But they arent ... Best match up for Jam indeed

I dont think sooooo. There are more out there. If top tiers can have very bad match ups, low tiers sure have ´em too.

Youre not alone on that. ARC better fix her weaknesses in next game if they decide to port her 1:1 over. I still shake my head at the fact that dizzy has the strongest , non tension combo, and the opener is difficult, not possible to do with most characters. Way to go ARC!

If pot did S it would hit you CH, pull you in for heat knuckle and be all over you. How you start is like chess. Mix it up or anticipate, guess what they´ll do, act accordingly. If you want a safe opening, walk back at start of round for small distance, then AD back.

Its her hitbox to blame. Also you wont even get to do the back IAD. Heat Knuckle gets you already at jump. Nono, youre getting the wrong impression on opening moves. what you do at start determines the flow & pace of the match. If pot gets damaged already at start, he is forced to attack. Otherway around, Dizzy has to slowy get in instead. If you back off already at start, situation becomes neutral. Then it becomes a long slug out. Just think of it as chess or RTS. Either you start to build up your resources OR you go all offensive.
