Sengoku Rance is an SLG (Simulation/Strategy game) It's pretty well liked because it's actually more game than VN (A pretty damn fun game too). You basically go around conquering an alternate reality Japan where all their major historical figures have been gender swapped, managing your territories and armies while recruiting new generals and characters along the way. Surprisingly deep from a gameplay perspective. The only downside is that it's got 18+/H content which turns some people off etc. Axis would vouch for it's legitness.

Gross is being used in a metaphoric sense to describe unappealing quality of production inherent in the anime's compaction of the VN story. VN to anime never translates good. Also Higurashi can be seen is taking place in the same "world" as Umineko, that's all.

Umineko is just broken up into episodes for the VN and the anime is just sorta gross from what I hear. 8 episodes of Umineko for the VN, chronological order. idk about the anime.

For what? Rance? Probably Sengoku Rance (R7) then since that's the one most people know about. The image I posted is an expansion to the recently released sequel which came out in August.

Lumin dodging is like Haley's comet showing up, everyone knows it's going to happen sooner or later, except instead of only being observable every 75 years like Haley's comet, Lumin dodging is instead observable 2-3 times a week over the period of 52 weeks.

Wearing a blindfold with your eyes closed for an extended period of time would produce the same sensation as putting your eyes out, no matter what you're dealing with a loss of sensory information that you once had it's just that one is a permanent loss and the other is only as long as you desire. Being Blind-born is a completely different thing than blindness acquired over a lifetime, blind-born individuals don't see/have visual stimuli in their dreams as that part of their brain was obviously never developed whereas people who go blind over the course of their lifetime will still be able to see in their dreams. Also blind people can still use touch to conceptualize the shape of objects, unlike deafness which has no supplementary sense leading to bigger problems. I also have Graces F pre-ordered but I don't know any of the characters.
