I dont get my copy till Tuesday. I just bought some of the recent Arcadia magazine issues so some information from those are starting to leak into the community.
Last time we had a chat about it in staff the tournament award was for top 3 in majors (including large scale events like Evo, BB Revo, etc.) that had 30 plus entrants.
All threads have prefixes on them to show what game it's related to: [CT], [CS1], [CS2], [CSE], [CP]. Since CP isn't out on console then look at the CSE thread here.
Last years NEC we had a pre tourney event at a bar in downtown Philadelphia. Multiple stations for people to play, and a corner to play against the Japanese players we had over. The special drink on sale that night was Tokyo Tea, it's like a Long Island Ice Tea if you ever had that before. Was good tasting and cheap. Lets just say everyone drunk too much and some players got a little too close.
Same as the current JP version. Has some English. It has online but it's more stripped down than the current console network mode. You only have player matches.
Took a screenshot of the manual network page on my twitter: https://twitter.com/Kurushii/status/313877010596384769/photo/1
Played through arcade mode. The game looks and feels damn good. If you are a pad player I don't see why you wouldn't pick this up.
Got all the artwork unlocked and both intros. Did two screencap samples of the artwork. It's going to take me a long time to do them all in the process I screencap so don't expect them all any time soon. :/

Cause he plays too much. He has been top 8 in character rankings for every console release on PS3 with tons of matches played. It makes perfect sense he would play BBCP to death at the arcade before console comes out.
Got my JP PS3 disc version in. JP disc language is dependent on the ps3 xmb language set. So can have it in full English or Japanese. So if anyone wanted a disc version for their collection you can't go wrong with the JP version. The only thing that is forced Jp no matter the language is the arcade endings.
