Is the walk forward part for that about as long as the walk forward part of the typical collider xx walk forward xx 6C?
-
It only makes sense considering the enormous hitstun/blockstun you earn if it connects. And doing a move on "the frame" is pretty much impossible to ask. Finishing a motion in a 1/60th of a second window at will = lol, robot

If get Nu magged during the fight, my chances of winning skyrocket anyway, as against a good Nu I'm lucky if that happens just before I die. It's getting to that first step that makes or breaks me being able to play offensively at any moment.
-
Can you elaborate on this trick? Tap what exactly?
-
I wonder why it even has a value. What projectile will do 8k damage during the short duration of a 6A?
-
The only problem with emphasizing that alone is that Nu controls the match more that way. If Tager can't make opportunities in this fight w/o Nu's help of making a mistake, then it's even a worse matchup than advertised. Nu: "I can do whatever I please until I make a mistake" Tager: "I can't do shit until she makes a mistake" If that about sums up the match, then I really hope Aksys has a real patch forthcoming after EVO.

Magnetism stacks the duration when you reapply it (rather than just reset)?

I though 5D wallbounced on CH. You mean you can B sledge it as a follow-up anywhere the 5D starts or only if she bounced back from very close to the corner?
-
Are the only strategies we're going to talk about are whiffs? This keeps Tager's out of the "how to play great Nus" and only against lesser-experienced Nus. We can't be looking only for whiff openings unless you guys want to break it to me that it's basically our only option. It's not terribly hard to avoid whiffing someone as ginormous as Tager.

Is the astral heat written correctly? A+B+C must be held while tapping D (right?) The notation provided implies A+B+C then linking only a mashing D I'm not quite in agreement with "never". I've baited plenty of punish attempts to get a followup on magna. It's only done rarely, but never would have cost me a few matches.

You can duck Tao's super being Heug leik Xbawkx?
-
Tager's 360B does scarier damage than any other non-super grappler command grab.

Only a scrub Tager is going to follow up SledgeB with 236A on someone that is so hard to get in on. I usually don't Sledge in until I have spark bolted her. XYH and blocking swords, get her magnatized, sledgeB in and 360A (360B if I get in close enough). 3C usually gets me when I get in close. Or they 6C and dash cancel. This should be the shortest thread in the matchup boards for any character. This is bar none the worst matchup....well, I guess someone could make a case for good Carls.
-
I don't like using Volt Spark to respond to a staff super as they are usually waiting until the staff is behind me. Not being able to follow up on spark because you need to block the super coming up behind you seems like a waste. I'll have to practice more on those 360As for her cause man her mixup is crazy.

Word on those forks. Can her lightning rods (activated) and super be sledged?
-
Yeah at least against randumb onliners I seem to have the least problem with Noel. Slides were the only thing a Noel that was adapting that I had to deal with. Even if they got a few in they still D spammed enough to eat a sledge and xx for half life.

Use backdash for the 720 punish
-
Anyone who can do a 720 right after an IB is a god. Your input timing would be insane there. That has to be the fastest way to buffer a "standing" 720.
-
Really? 2D has such a long startup it would either have to be at max range or psychic.
-
A Jin that knows what he's doing only Ice Car A to move up for combos or does the other Ice Cars during combos. The ones that use it to attack you at full screen obviously are asking for a grab.
-
CH combos are fine when playing online since a lot of people are mashing. Most of my first hits ends up being CHs. Crouching ones I agree are tough since Tager isn't the type of character with fast pressure strings where you are thinking about mixup (i.e. forcing them into a crouch). Question: Since SledgeB causes them to fall down can you hit them as they are falling and have it count as a crouch?
-
Best medicine I've had for Tao is pray you get her magnetized and when she starts jumping away for the typical back in your face D she should be eating a 5D with the long active time of the move. For some reason I can get Taos to eat more 5Ds after being magnetized than any other character.
-
Would like a detailed guide on using XYH. It's the only move I rarely use as I usually just IB projectiles at full screen to get super meter otherwise I'm Sledge B'ing their face. I haven't found a way to predict/force bursts yet but that seems more like something you can do with a rush character or when you're playing the same person a lot. I'm starting to get into the Shot combos now so I need a way to get access to them earlier. Should I just get used to activating it every time I finish a BnB Collider combo that ends in 5D? Can you use it on nearly any jump-in and punish with a command throw/720?
-
I usually 2D to whiff a jump-in then 5D...seems to get them pretty often that way. Also anyone who wants to get Dante achievement done real quick just get your target magnatized and time 5Ds. I don't think whomever programmed the AI took vacuum into consideration when blocking that. Also with Collider, it seems like mostly I can combo with it (dur) but when trying to use it for the normal magnetized jumper I just get stuffed. 6A also tends to get me punished unless it's going to connect with the vacuum. I mainly like it cause I get more combo opps that way and people stop trying to backdash from melee.
