  6. I don't know what happened but PMs and Avatars tables in the database both got blown away so everything was lost. I may have to blow away all PM tables again because there is still some issues going on.

  10. Some people feel that more posts = more better I guess. Actually that's the reason Post Count doesn't show up in the thread view anymore. Lot of people spamming posts just to bump post count back in the day.

  15. You can't make that 1F of jump startup go away. If you hit 7+P+K on the same frame you get an FD, not a jump. Yes, and it's very good.
  16. Well in that situation if they don't tech you could probably just do 2B 2C Collider, or go for ANOTHER reset off the 2C. :I
  17. Yeah you can do that with the 720. Frankly though it doesn't matter when you hit the D as long as you get the 720 motion correctly. You could just spin the joystick the whole time you are in the air then hit C when you hit the ground, if you wanted to.
  18. Is there a reason to use 5C 6A instead of 6A 2C? I would think 6A 2C should do more damage and should be a little easier to hit with, dunno about PP or anything like that though.
  19. Yeah what he means is basically instead of just making the staff attack directly as oki, you just hold it then oki with Litchi, and use the staff to do trickery after that. For example as a stupid trick, hold the D then run up and do 2B [6B] and release the staff to hit part way through the wiff animation. If nothing else, it buys you time to get a 5B out and do more stupid stuff. Or in the corner, 3C 2[D] then jump up and just as you are coming down, release D then land and 2B 2C. If you FD while you jump you can also use this as a way to bait DPs. Doesn't work well against people who tech fast though. You can also do that from DP > j.C [D] style knockdowns as well and I thiiink it works better from that. You can do a lot of stupid stuff with it but most of it is just good as gimmicks.
  20. I've messed with doing these a bit actually. One very basic one I like to do is after corner 3C, hold down 2D (don't let go), then when they tech do a kara throw. The combo follow up is: B+C(1) Chun ]D[ B 623C > etc Basically you time the release of the D right before the Chun hits. Unfortunately they can screw with this by delaying their tech, but if they do that you can do a back throw and get a normal back throw combo anyway. I've messed with some others but not to the point I have them down solid. There are a lot of setups where you send the low staff out, land a mixup, then end it with a Chun and then followup with the staff on (usually comboed right into DP).
  21. 6-4 is pretty fairly balanced. Something like 7-3 or worse is really when things are bad news.
  22. -2 SD and a 5F jab means you should still be able to 360A to beat it. Just do it faster.

Well that one above doesn't work but here's some stuff that does: 3C RC, 6C 623C, 6C D [3262] - Easy, boring. 3C RC, 6A 2C 623C, 6C D [3919] - Kind weird. 6A 3C RC, 6A 623C, 6C D [4181] 3C RC, 236B, 2B 2C 623C, 41236D, 5C 623C [4493] 6A 3C RC, 6A 2C 623C, 41236D, 5C 623C [5038] - Also kind of weird. I'm sure there's gotta be better than this though.
  24. I honestly don't know what an ideal combo is off it but you can just do a basic one for starters: 3C RC 236B, 2B 2C 623C, 6C D I don't think you can land a 5C after that 236B in that situation unfortunately. But there's probably much better stuff than that... maybe 3C RC 6C 236B to start?
  25. Basically this, but people with DPs are going to give you massive fits if you do anything off a 5C. Basically you are playing a guessing game and it's not really in your favor at all. Especially against Litchi. And since Kensk didn't mention it, doing 6A 3C is actually quite good on occasion. It will tag people attempting to jump out. Unfortunately due to how throws work in this game, they can actually uh... 'fuzzy escape' out of that unless you start screwing with delaying your 3C a few frames. But the real drag is you need 50% to get anything for even hitting the 3C. But you do at least get some solid damage for it when it hits. Another thing I like to do that is silly and not really very good is blocked 236B RC 6B. You can also flip it up and do 236B RC 2B 2C. That's an almost-legit Tager High-Low mixup. :I
