Yeah, I don't think it's that much different of a matchup, but a lot of Bridget's standard stupidity is a little less effective overall. I have nooo idea. Let me know if you find anything. :/

If you are doing it without the wallbounce, then yeah it's pretty hard and only works in some situations. Remember, timing for IAD's is totally different in this game than it is in GG, you can do them really fast in comparison. If you do them fast enough, you don't even go forward, you go diagonally down like Magneto. Also if you are having too much trouble, try using j.A C or j.B A instead. It's faster but might mess up the rest of your combo. -
Yeah, jumping around against Toki is about the best you can do because Toki will rock the hell out of you if you are on the ground. Toki loves to try and parry you when you do that though, but that means you just land and do 2B instead. That of course gives Raoh a 60% damage combo for no bar. Toki also loves to throw projectiles at Raoh while he does this, but getting into a projectile battle against Toki is a bad idea because he can throw those things out like nobodies buisness, and then just teleport under you or whatever else. Raoh's jumping around with j.B is really good. I see a lot of just normal jumping forward into j.B, and then either dashing forward or double jumping for more j.Bs. It's all pretty simple, but it works because it has huge range. Against Heart, you can just jump and j.B him twice like a dust loop, but he'll usually just throw you for doing it. :/ Besides that, mixing up with the crossup IAD j.B thing, you can replace j.B with j.D and some times NOT crossup. Nice mixup, although I don't see a lot of it from the japanese so maybe there's a way around it. The other new mixup I see used a lot is to just to force a block of Raoh's 2C. At this point, you can either IAD j.B (can even crossup), or just do a late 2D. Either way, you get big damage. Raoh has a LOT of mixups... but he really suffers when he puts someone into the corner because he can't crossup or anything. His High/Low by default is really weak because his IAD is slow compared to most, and his 6B is reactionable. 2C mixup, unblockables, or frame traps tend to work better. I also started just spamming CD on block lately... 50% boost, you can't really argue with it. As for Jagi, I was just refering to the generic doing D CD cancel. I actually have no idea what his combos are yet, I was just messing around with him the other day trying to figure some stuff out, but I was not very successful. I dunno how you guys to the Fist Cancel but personally I just roll D~C, I find it's the easiest way. It's also possible to do it D CD or just CD CD, but I find hitting two sets of inputs for one move is a bit counter intuitive to my brain. Oh yeah, for Heart, is there a good blowback combo that doesn't use Itei-ou? Right now I've only got 2B CD 6, A D 623A, 236236A. I've heard there is a loop with D > j.D, but I can't get him to belly flop fast enough. Do you have to IAD into j.D?

Raoh IS pretty good, but that always seemed like a bad match for Raoh. No real good DPs, not a lot of options to get around Toki's crap. Raoh's kinda slow, which is not a good thing to be around Toki. Well I had a productive evening anyway. I only get to play maybe once or twice a month, so I actually got to learn some stuff today. - FINALLY mastered Fist Canceling (kara cancel into CD), got it down about 95% with Raoh/Jagi/Rei. - Got down 2C IAD with Raoh about 90%, can now do corner shenanigans with fist cancel into big damage wall combo for no meter usage. Standard combo doesn't work against Raoh? - Got Kenshiro's wall bounce loop up to 4x reps at maybe 75% consistancy. It's got issues against Raoh/Shin/Thouther, but I've got sort of alternate combos for those now. - Got Kenshiro's 623C cancel into AC working maybe 50% of the time, still can't land the combo after it. :/ - Finally got Thouther's combo into CD down, it's just a stupid timing issue with doing it fast enough. Things to work on: - Doing Raoh's second rep of 2C > Boosted IAD j.B 214B ... learn how to boost it properly so it goes down forward and not up forward. - HIT THE TIMING ON THE STUPID AIR SPIKE ALREADY OKAY - Still can't do relaunch combos with Thouther... can seemingly at random manage to get one, but overall not having luck.

Yeah the only surprizes on that list to me are Heart and Yuda being as low as they are. I thought Yuda was pretty good against Toki.. I guess they changed their minds.

There are a LOT of unblockables. No idea how to setup for them though, but I personally know of two (Hol Horse and Avdol). -
So the input for the boost throw is basically doing 6[6] E 4C ?

Yeah I've seen it done now. Any idea if Toki's pokes are low hits or not? (2A and 2D are they?) -
Honestly I'd say Axl seems a much worse matchup in Slash than Bridget. Axl RAPES Pote in this game... Pote no longer has his free big damage combos VS Axl, Axl has his new air move which just gives him more options to get into big damage combos (he can now do j.S Kokku FRC if Pote does Hammerfall, which leads to 2x bomber loop). It's always been a hard fight, but the loss of getting any damage off midscreen PB and new tools for Axl make this matchup suck. Bridget VS Pote isn't all that much different other than bridget having unblockable setups and infinites. So, cheesy as balls as usual, nothing abnormal for bridget.

I think to get the OTG CD into IK you need to knock them down with a short combo, otherwise they will fall too fast for it to work. I haven't really toyed around with it though. You can also just connect the CD against them before they go OTG and then boost into OTG IK instead. I think to do that you just do a D CD, but I'd have to try it out to be sure. The only 100% he has I listed above. -
2C is used in his wallbounce combos to do things like CD 6, C 2C > IAD j.B 214D ... of course there are much better things but that's the idea. You also can use it in mixups too, because it's jump cancelable even on block... so if you are next to someone you can do 2C > IAD j.B as a crossup. It's cute. Yeah his D.f is cancelable to CD, but you have to Fist Cancel it. That is, you must buffer into 2D and then cancel the first frames of that into the CD.

I don't think those throw distances are neccicarily what you think they are either, because I'm pretty sure ABA's throw range is something really silly. Technically you aren't invincible on the 1 frame you can act on wakeup, you are just capable of actually inputting something on it. If that something happens to also be invincible, then you just maintain being invincible. If you throw someone on the frame you wake up, your active throw actually takes priority over whatever they did as long as the throw can connect, thus stopping their attack from connecting. It's one of a few forms of actual priority in the game. The 1F of invincibility on wakeup isn't real so much as it is a visual thing. The game has a really retarded way of updating the game world VS updating the screen, so things actually change state a frame after they appear to. This gives a weird effect where it makes it look like you have 1F of total invincibility on wakeup, but in reality it's just the game being retarded. You can see this as such here: http://userpages.umbc.edu/~thoda1/PoWalk.jpg Pote basically starting his 5HS despite being covered by an active attack on wakeup. -

Throws have 0F startup, they will throw you unless you are throw invincible. -
Yeah, D.f CD is the special Fist Cancel technique. Haven't had a chance to just sit and practice trying to do it so I don't really have the timing down. 2C > IAD j.B is just a standard thing but the 2C is very slow and has a lot of hitpause, so getting the timing on the IAD is a lot harder than doing Ken's 236D > IAD j.C loops. Plus IADs are just weird in general in this game, you've got to do them insanely fast and hit the button just as you dash forward to make your character do the triangle jump motion. I can do it normally all the time and with Ken, but the 2C messes my timing up. I still have no idea how to do that stuff with Rei where he cancel's his DP or air charge move into other stuff. People tell me to just jump cancel it but that doesn't work.
-
Well I play Ken/Thouther/Raoh so you'll get some variation in there. You'll get to see just how unblockable Raoh's crossup is. :o I still have trouble with Raoh because I just can't do D.f CD yet, as I never get to practice it. Also can't do the 2C IAD j.B thing yet either, timing on the IAD is weird. Oh well.

Pote's command grab has the longest range on the ground AFAIK. ABA's normal throw has the longest range of normal throws from what I've heard and seen. Could be wrong though, I don't have data on throw distances. -
I don't think you guys will have a lot of competition for HnK... this is Otakon after all. You'll get me and Eddie who are average, I don't know anyone else going who is any sort of threat.

Basically that. Throw V Throw = Both get HS or whatever you option selected with. Throw V Command Throw = Command Throw wins. Command Throw V Command Throw = Double Wiff. That's what I recall anyway. -
Haha that's gold. By any chance can Mamiya boost her roll to make it roll really far?
-
Having a viable 100% and an infinite will do that for you. Honestly I would be surprized if Heart and Ken weren't high tier as they both have fairly viable 100%'s too. Seems to me that even though Toki will always have the best rushdown, now a few other characters can match or beat him in terms of damage output. Ken knocks off 60-70% of your life for 1 boost stock off any random hit these days... Heart... kills you if he has 1 Aura.

Uh, it lasts the number of frames of advantage you get. If you get +3 advantage, you act 3 frames before the other person does.
