  1. I can't put my finger on Carmine's voice actor...
  2. DragonLord, with the hard hitting question that's really is on everyone's mind.
  3. That's the first artwork that features all the 6 Heroes and in their original forms/outfits.
  4. More like balanced, he's been one of the top 5 characters in each version of cs no matter how much they "nerfed" him lol. Andf I'm fine with that, I still wanna learn him. That could be problematic if it's true. Yea that was the beauty of Zanshin, once activated it was unstoppable, the problem was knowing when to try and activate it lol Good question.
  5. Yea he was terrible, Spark was honestly the only good hakumen player at the time. He just did not have effective tools. I play Ky for GG, his damage kinda sucks, so when I saw Hakumen's damage output I gravitated towards him. Refer to what I said above, plus Gordeau's scythe has HUGE range lol I lost in a local tournament because I had to play on ps3 pad, as opposed to me playing on my preferred 360 pad. So since then I converted to stick, it's just so much more convenient. I can pretty much play anywhere. I've managed to ignore most changes but, WHY ARE THEY NERFING YUKIKAZE'S DAMAGE?! Each game they made it better to the point where it was actually a viable tool for 4 stars, now they're making the risk doing it, even less worth it with less damage. FUCK THIS GAME/CHARACTER. I'M LEARNING VALKENHAYN FULL FORCE NOW. Actually if I understand correctly 6>shippu=4320 since the 5400=OD(+20% damage). If i understood correctly. 130 for jc is pretty crazy lol No only character's who have their install linked with their OD would be getting a 20% damage increase. I say this because 720+20%=6744, which is just plain insane/dumb. I don't quite understand how that works yet... I still don't like the fact that you can block his drive, I would be fine with the lack of follow up if his counters got a damage buff and you got a star no matter what. We've seen that everytime you give hakumen 1 thing and take away 2 he ends up being shit because he lacks the proper tools to win.
  6. ^:thumb: For once an fg where all the characters are appealing to me some way or another. Shoutouts to Jourdal for posting up the character montages for this game.
  7. lovely daze. Story coupled with hakumen's speech about justice and his style of play plus his damage output along with his appearance/voice made me main him. Main Gordeau and be cool. I learned stick while playing cs1 hakumen so it wasn't so bad. By the time cs2 came out I only had a few kinks to work out in terms of inputs, dp motions, iad, sj2a (for his corner loops). SO by the time csex came out I was/am very consistent on stick. I would say that you must make sure not to give up, but learning to play on stick is like a hueg weight off your shoulder since you can play virtually anywhere, so long as you have properly functioning sticks. He was terrible, SPark was the only hakumen player to make hakumen look strong in that version of the game lol. Read darkside's post about cs2 hakumen I hope we're not going to be heading towards his cs2/ct version again. You forgot about the fact that meter gain made it TERRIBLE when you were about to do an extended combo in cs2 that took up 3+ stars you had to pray your opponent didn't burst at the right time. Because not only have they blown you away making it harder for you to get in close, thereby increasing the chances you have of making one of the very few mistakes you're allowed to make in a round/match, but you also lose all the stars you had trying to start a combo meaning that you're put at a disadvantage since you don't have much tools to defend yourself against you opponent if they decide to go offensive on you when you wake up. That's an interesting take on his changes, and you may very well be right.
  8. You got Top 9 bro? That is pretty scummy good sir. Your Jin is nice you emo, just needs moar ice>6a>RC>stuff resets on your gameplay. If I'm free to those, I'm sure other people are too lol
  9. Ggs to everyone else I played.
  10. GGs brian, holy fuck you're so cheap with your 15% xfc yomi. I hope they nerf it in the next game. You make it impossible for me to learn a sub lol. But I'm sure I'll be able to blow up brice with all those various set ups.
  11. What type of chicken is it?
  12. Yes they play at A&C Games regularly, it's where I first tried out P4U.
  13. As do I. It's like 600 raw damage right? I won't go as far as dropping it since I haven't both a community and a lot of time and energy invested in maintaining and promoting this game. Not only that, but the story is awesome. But yes, UN looks awesome. I'll be maining Gordeau, his damage output is high, he is badass and doesn't at least fight like a villain. And he has a command grab (I think). Horray, Continuum Shift 2, but with a different name and aesthetics. yes, a trm was such a viable tool in the corner especially when you have 2+ stars. That was cs1. Uhhhh, you make it sound like this is the first time Hakumen was shit. So far, from what it's gonna look like, out of the 4 Blazblue games Hakumen sucked in 2 of them and the other two he was strong in. And in CP he will probably be shit again, and no one will play him because he is Shitmen® and why play him when you could play Azrael. Who hits like a tank supposedly and he can dash through pressure. I honestly wish they knew how to balance hakumen for at least 2 games in a row. You nerf his defense (even though he is the defensive character in the game) and you nerf his offense/damage without giving him anything else. But I still do believe it's too early to speculate, but I can see the direction they're going with him. if only more people though that way.
  14. Looks like Popeyes is free in many places except Toronto and Louisiana (I would, assume since that's where it originated) What's this about fraudulence? I almost never watch streams.
  15. I like the way Bullet plays not, can she run? She seems slightly sluggish, which is to be expected since she's a grappler, based off her air dash. How is her damage output? Is Amane's chip damage immense like Capcom chip damage?
  16. Thanks for the translation, the few combos I saw hakumen players doing looked interesting I won't lie. I just hope they know what they're doing and make sure his Zanshin is still useful, I like the projectile magatama thing though.
  17. Anime themes playing while you're being removed from existence was/is lame. The anime intros or whatever were best in the last fights for the true endings for story modes. Everyone got hype when Unlimited Ragna was up agauinst Unlimited Nu and Icono started playing. But when you manage to press a button during my counter astral and then the game turned into a white and black canvas with red after images to slice to apart violently isn't matches with happy anime music. This also applies to any other awesome/violent Astrals (Ragna, Valkenhayn). While I doubt 'll play the game's intro to Astrals when I get this game, it does sound significantly better than an anime intro playing when Azrael vaporizes you with his fist.
  18. Fighting games are all about tempo, every character (and character type have their own tempo). Instant Air dashing into your opponent everytime you want to get in close and hit buttons will not get you anywhere. For example tager and any grappler in any fighter wants you up close so that they can force you into situations where you have to guess while blocking to avoid command grabs. So in these types of cases, if you watch high level play a lot, hakumen players tend to burst after they get command grabbed by tager and are about to eat another command grab on wakeup. That is what controlling tempo is about, because that pushes away tager. Hakumen is the only character in the game whose tempo is when nothing happens, why? Because he is constantly gaining meter and in csex he has a lot of options especially with meter to make something happen and get in close on his terms no matter who the opponent is. You can literally just sit there and build stars and as long as you're patient and not passive, some players are too passive with hakumen, you can destroy your opponent in like a combo or two. Rewatching your matches and comparing them to japanese players and other really strong player helps a lot. It helps you learn where/when you should be patient and when you can/should punish certain things and what you can punish things with besides hakumens counters. It takes time to develop patience, since hakumen isn't about "going in there and pressing buttons furiously" like some characters/fighting games. If you can get replays up and post them in the hakumen critique thread then we can give you better hands on advice.
  19. Wow so basically vanilla mvc3 Thor. Holy fuck, why would you even eat popeyes there We must show the MTL crew the right way of life, they're still playing the old outdated patch of popeyes: the fighter.
  20. Relatively happy stuff to hear. Better than continuous negative shit.
  21. To be honest I haven't had popeyes outside of Toronto :/ So I couldn't vouch for the Americans.
