  2. No one likes Tao, do you want to not be liked as well? Yup. Yup, what is a feint exactly. Because I always defined his wolf cancel off 6c as a feint as well. That would kill part of his mixup game. You already can by cancelling it into wolf form. biter did it to Spark as EVO 2011. Transformation was always 5d, they changed the movement. Now in wolf form instead of pressing c+direction, you're pressing d+direction, c is now a low sweeping normal with his tail. However wolf cancels are still d+direction as well. At least from my understanding of Valk's changes/nerfs. Yea heavy rtsd characters usually don't have reversals anyways, they want you to have minimal to no options on wakeup but have so many options on oki and to get in on your opponent. Looks like this thread is back on track.

  11. I guess hearing he has high damage output and similar playing style to Hakumen, made some of us think that he had straight forward high damage output like Hakumen. It seems he has a sort of Rachel approach to his damage output. Sounds interesting nevertheless. Also I hope they add the ability to record offline matches. My offline matches are 10x more hype and entertaining to watch than my online matches, I don't know why ArcSys hasn't implemented that feature yet in any of their games.
  12. Ok so in a sense his super sort of work like Rachel where you can continue to lay down pain after you do your super, rather than it being a combo ender. And the damage output for him lies in the fact that when hitting weak spots that have already been applied allows for extended combos due to the properties from hitting weak spots right?

  14. Ok so I heard his supers only do about 1k or something like that, could you please clarify that? Do he do more damage when he hits those weakspots? I'm still unclear about how he is supposed to use his drive and how he applies heavy damage.
  15. I'm sorry, as much as I love Hakumen, but 5c>zantetsu>5c> zantetsu>3c were lame as damaging combos. I do want him to have high damage output but I want to have to put in work to get out that damage, like the combos he has in bbcsex, he hits hard and his combos are by no means easy to perform. That's what I like, but those combos could easily be 4-5k and maybe even nearly 6k. They are stupid, an invincible wakeup reversal that's plus on block. Didn't they make all moves additionally -10 in the older iterations of the game? That's a bit much don't you think? In terms of csex, I'm fine with the damage output of everyone. Calamity Trigger was a bit much, 2 combos and then GGs. I have heard complaints about that, and I can see where you're coming on that issue. We shall see how they handle hakumen in cp, hopefully it won't be in the direction that you feel they're headed in. Because killing his drive would be like killing his damage output (cs2), which makes him a completely subpar nigh useless character in the cast. BB is still young and they're trying to figure out what direction they want to go with it. But nerfing to hell certain characters who were top is not something I agree with either. cs rachel, cs2 hakumen, csex makoto were excessive in terms of balancing. It was almost as if they are punishing those characters for being strong in the first place. GG on the other hand, as you've stated headed in the right direction, I personally found csex hakumen was where he was supposed to be, I just wish they kept that in mind when making this new game. I really hope they don't make his drive useless like the loke tests have shown or else I don't think I'll be using him as much as I do in csex. This whole being able to block his drive is sounding really bad and it's funny how people assume we autopilot his counters lol. It'll mean people will be able to stay on hakumen at all times and basically do whatever they want to him, especially since he is always in the blocking punishing position.
  16. Play at different times of the day. I find earlier in the day, morning/afternoon, has weaker players compared to night time. I know I personally play later in the day, and rarely do I ever play the morning.

  18. My psr is much higher than my rank if that means anything. But at the same time I regularly beat people with higher netplay psr's than mine too. I know mine would be much higher if lag in general wasn't as much of a factor, but it does give some sort of information. Though I'm still not entirely sure how it's calculated -__- Curious what they'll do with it, since I like this psr system than the last personally.

  21. I'm hoping hakumen will still be strong/decent, I'm tired of playing hakumen as shit tier. He's the leader of the 6 Heroes and one of the best designs in the game, he should not suck ass. Strangely enough I'm not hearing anything bad from Ragna/Valkenhayn/Hazama players about nerfs though. @Isuna, alright some of those stuff I didn't know, but alright. To be honest with all the unused sound bits, I though Hakumen would be getting new super(s) in this version of the game. But instead we get Agito >_> I also feel that they're trying to create a new combo system with hakumen that keeps him from being so burst safe, which I think is dumb personally. Since when the opponent bursts at the right time, he not only loses his momentum, but his magatama that he used to initiate the combo. Kishuu is my favourite move in the game (ask mAc), it losing it's projectile invincibility means it's just that much harder for us to get in after an opponent bursts in our combos lol.

  23. This was translated from a recent interview with Mori: I: I can’t remember any other character who cares about chip that much. Moving on, what does Azrael have? M: Azrael is a soldier that belongs to the same “Sector Seven” organization as Tager, who can implant weak points into the enemy with his Drive, The Terror. The idea is that he puts a curse on you for a short time. When a Drive attack connects, a weak point is put on you, and when it’s hit, your hit stun becomes much longer and attacks gain additional effects. Though his fighting style revolves around finding the way of applying the weak points to the opponent, his attack power is quite high, so you can still fight well even without using Drive. Since his movement is on the slower side, he’s pretty close to Hakumen in terms of gameplay. NO that was his guard crush move. No one got anything like a dust attack in this game. If you don't know what a guard crush is, you can find it in the first page of the BB:CP loketest changes.
