St1ckBuG's article was amazing and reflective of Montreal's current situation, in my view of course. it's kinda late for me to write up a big post but with my personal expriences in fg's and the fgc. Fg's in the fgc is like high school unless everyone is playing that particular game no one will play. And because no one plays it it is labelled as "uncool", so it is stigmatized as being "uncool" to newer players and are afraid of actually trying out the game. We have BB players who sub other games, but you rarely hear other players subbing in BB. You don't see sponsored players playing BB either, helping to stigmatize the games already present "uncool-ness". Because it is uncool people easily disregard it for the smallest reason, and that very reason could be in other fg's but they'll pick up that game instead because "it's more fun" "its cooler". But really, it's because most people is playing it, thus making it cool to play. Running BB at these side events do not attract people to the game because of the unpopular view around it. No point really in trying. I'm starting to see the logic in doing our own thing. I've seen personal friends who bought CT, and some bought CS, and then when mvc3/umvc3 came out their reasoning for not really playing Bb because "they are too busy" all of a sudden had cleared up schedules to level up in the game. As the "nerds"/"outcasts" of the fgc, doing our own thing is starting to look stronger and stronger.

I can't blame you since neither Pedro, Brice nor myself got an official memo for not being part of nemesis. So it's been kept under the radar. Nolan, when you get the chance download the kof13 demo and give it a shot. That's what I did EDIT: I want everyone's thoughts on St1ckBuG's article on the front page.

St1ckBuG's article was very good and in many ways reflects our own situation in this city as well. While I may be a conservative individual the #2 option is looking more and more likely as time is moving on.

I don't feel any of us should be there with regards to Blazblue. And kof is crazy fun. Nice to see new people joining the community.

Five words for this issue: IAD/super double jump jc. This is something you need to use carefully when you see her in the air setting up steins. This will stuff her attempts of trying to zone. If you hit her, it stops her steins from shooting at you.

When do you need dark training?

Go into training mode and have the a.i either jump or super jump and practice just doing j2a>66>j2a. It took me quite a bit of time but once I figured out the timing the working on that specific part the combo(s) became much easier. Sometimes it's best to concentrate on the specific part of a combo that gives you the hardest time. With hakumen I would say people have the hardest part for people to complete with basic hakumen combos is j2a>66>j2a>jc, and SJ2A>2c>SJ2a. For things like that you need to isolate that part to understand the timing of it rather than just mashing buttons hoping that it'll come out. When you can perform that specific part, then you incorporate it into the entire combo. I hope that helps.
