Kaeru what time are you going? -
It occasionally freezes up after I watch A LOT of videos and I have it open for 8+ hours, or shock wave crashes (not so much crashing anymore though). But I haven't used past 35% of the ram so in my view there should be no reason for it to freeze.

That video was amazing. To get even more laughs you should check out the comments on youtube; indiansstinklikebutt's comments is the best trolling I've ever seen. Clearly we as a gaming community need to up our racist tactics. -

This makes a lot of sense to me. I really wanted to go to EVO this year, and that is motivation within itself. I won't always have the opportunity to travel for tournaments. And BB is a big reason for that, and nothing better than saving money AND playing the game you love lol. -

You forgot to add they don't try to find any community sites for BB either. But yes that is very accurate. I would feel that march break would be the best time. But we should aim to accomodate Toronto the most, since they're our neighbours followed by the Infidels Americans (sorry St1ckbug). When do you t.o people enter march break? Montreal players don't really need accommodation for a tournament in their city since they're not doing the same type of travelling. But this is just my view, we just need a weekend that falls into their vacation time. You guys aren't going to stop with this are you? inorite? Of course you don't because that would mean you hate blanka Exactly like I said, except T.O and Ottawa get the greatest precedence. Good sir, you clearly been unaware for how long discussions and discourses have been taking place over issues of fecal matter. Roldy, no. That's way too long, think about MAT8 in June. Oh that's sweet:) Some guy whose known for pressing buttons pretty well. Nigga, proofread your posts. -

Ok agreed then. -
Don't take tier lists that seriously until about May or so. Right now it's still to early to tell. Hakumen and Ragna always fall in tier lists together lol It only has AA attributes towards the end of its animation though, not ct AA t all. Just to keep people from abusing jumpins and blatantly obvious IADs is all. Don't rely on it like Ragna's AA or wolf form AA.

I am not surprised by this at all. The reasons for people hating BB is oxymoronic because they play umvc3. Like I've said earlier I've seen this with my friends. This is the quote for all of dustloop. It must be sigged. That's an exaggeration. There are people who just like ArcSys games, like myself. T13/MAT8, one in Toronto one in Montreal. I plan on attending both, get hype. Canada needs UnsancxBlade to happen again. I know you're a tekken player but, I don't understand what that has to do with anything. If I was told about this by yesterday I would've come No biggy I'll be there tomorrow, I feel like doing 866 and pressing buttons. Everyone in Canada is posting here right now. We're falling into the age old issue of "getting your game proper exposure". I'll assume this is a troll move. You forgot how I didn't oppose banning Platinum. Fighting game exposure, this is the reason I've been pushing for us to have a site, a youtube channel, and a poster at foonzo. This is the type of thing that gives the game in this city proper exposure. This just lets people know that people play this game in the city. I've heard quite a few stories about people dropping BB because they didn't know there were people playing this game in montreal. Something like that needs to stop. Making people aware that there is a city and we're serious will help us, not really running tournaments. Tournaments/majors/wtv is just to strengthen the bond between communities, which it does its job. Further more: It's about umvc3 but there's a lot to learn from it. -

EDIT: This is very much true, I've even had people bluntly state this to me, which before they said they hate fighters because of 20 second combos. Then they bought mvc3/umvc3, and forgot what blazblue was. You're not bitter bro, and the stigma behind the game doesn't help with characters like platinum being in it. But then again to push the envelop you have characters like "rocket racoon" and arthur (no I don't hate on them, they just look silly is all) -

Agreed, I won`t lie. Ex hakumen feels cheap, I miss that feeling. Do you want to run dainisen (probably misspelt the word) in addition to monthlies again like the good ol' days before Jon ruined our lives? Speak of learning the devil: -

Lol you don't need to know how to play against hakumen. Hakumen only mains Spark anyways. EDIT: You make valid points, but mtl and t.o isn't exactly the same. But you say holds truth, I feel if we were to run a ex tourney it should be a month after ex's N.A release. -

Fuck typing that took too long, anyways valid points. But my main issue of "doing us" still stands. And wow, no one plays kof in mtl. Looks like we'll need to "make a community" for this game. The greatest knowledge base of kof I have is my friend who plays viper and shahied -

I've been avoiding posting over the last couple of days because frankly I've been irritated with the SFxBB relationship in the last few months. However I didn't want to create bad blood or put anyone on blast, especially with all the work Pedro and Brice for encouraging MTL exposure in the U.S and Nini running small tournaments. However, with everyone sounding off on their opinion, I'm just gonna go ahead and release my thoughts after all these responses. He's not ass but better on pad still. To be fair, I think he picked up playing on stick the fastest within the city. It just so happens that his main is tricky. If he say, mained ragna, he would already be fine. If you mean with regards to how long it took me to voice my opinion, read the above, if you mean why I didn't start writing this earlier today, it's because I didn't want any distractions interrupting me. I'll be getting to this point in a little bit. What if not everyone in the community who wants to take part in Nemesis has access to CSEX? I whole heartedly agree with pui on this. I support what Omar is saying. The dilemna of awesome-girl is not just limited to her by running a tournament for nemesis at the last minute. Which I'll touch on later as well. This holds truth as well. This is very much true, I remember the demographics of Nemesis last year, it was people who came for SF4 and I couldn't think of anyone except for nerdjosh (who "doesn't even play this game"), I can't think of one person who came from out of town to take part in sf4 and bb tournies. Let a lone an unofficially unannounced side tourney for some less popular anime fighter. This situation we're in looks more like what Omar said rather than a blssing as it was last year. Uhhh, sure...? No, kaeru did. I like where you're going with this Nolan. Fix'd Voicing my thoughts over the last few months; Yes yes, bash me all for not coming to meetups for X and Y reason, and hate on me for it. I really honestly don't care, nor will I ever, it's not like I didn't contribute anything to the community and it means a lot to me, and so do you guys as a crew. I actually consider you guys friends. I feel Pedro and Brice have done an excellent job with the community as I haven't really been able to do much to advance/expand the community, their optimism and rive have ultimately pushed the community to hold and place in outer city tournies making Montreal now legitimate in the "air dasher" community. Which is amazing and I couldn't thank them enough for something that I was unable to do for whatever reason. I also want to thank K.B and Lvl5 for their job helping run local tournies no matter how small they were and recording the matches, thanks to you guys i get to keep my voice lol. So overall the community and much stronger, with more members, and more core members with a greater outreach in the air-dasher community. No one would've thought this would happen in under 3 years, ask Nolan/Gilbert/Steven when we started this. SFxBB; This time last year, we started to develop a very strong relationship between witht eh sf/capcom community here in Montreal, and even indirectly with the Tekken community. It finally seemed that all would unite, with no more divisions among us, as we had at Foonzo; SSF4, BBCS1, TEKKEN (don't know the number lol), and some extra games from ArcSys and Capcom under one roof at Foonzo. Things were looking good, we had mtlsf members join dustloop for the first time and show interest in blazblue and vice versa with the srk forums and the mtlbb community. This relationship would get stronger with Montreal's inclusion of the new EVO season, with our city showing we have strong communities that supported almost if not every contemporary FG. We had officially joined MAT8 where Mtl proved themselves to be a contender instead of getting blown up by T.O as we did at T11. We also had our biggest tournament entry count ever since we started running tournaments in Fall of 2010. To me, it felt like the SFxBB relationship in mtl was growing strong. However, with Nemesis this year, there was no formal announcement that Blazblue and any ArcSys games wouldn't be included in Nemesis' venue. Instead we learned from this in almost a third-party manner. To me this was quite insulting instead of the community to be formally consulted or informed of this decision we were disregarded about the information. This action felt as if we had been discarded from MTLSF's plans for the future now that we helped them (And most likely continue to help them) run MAT8 so that it could be part of EVO-Season. This left us with an imposition of running a tournament at the last minute in what would be a completely crowded venue with minimal interest in the game that we are running. Yes, running a tournament in theory give our games more exposure. But those of you who helped me run tournaments and reflect back on the entry count on how many people who entered the blazblue tournaments that didn't specifically come to participate in a tournament for the game. I do not recall any, if anything being informed in advance of our inclusion as a side tournament is what gave us more entries as people were well informed in advance so that can make the preparations to come to montreal. In all honesty, I cannon seeing running a tournament in a crowded venue for a game that was unannounced will help out the community or the game in any way. To conclude, it is not my decision to make in any way. It is you guys who should determine whether or not a tournament should be run or not under these circumstances, because to me it looks like the community is picking up the crumbs of whatever MTLSF leaves us at this point. I support the decision either way. To CSEX or to not CSEX that is the Question; Since the community has been around, whenever we run tournaments be it small local ones or majors, we always take into count account how many people have access to that given build of the game or characters (dlc issues). In our first tournaments, if I remember correctly we had banned Valkenhayn all the way till we ran a Mtl mashfest in february since xbl had not released the valkenhayn dlc till early December while psn had him for at least 2 weeks prior that. Following that we had placed a ban on Platinum since MAT8 was coming around and we had the psn-crisis which prevented people from accessing platinum, while xbl users had her for at least one extra week. As we can see, we always accommodated the community for the most part if unforeseen circumstances come about, typically dlc delay. We decided to run cs2 at MAT8 because it had been discussed prior that if cs2 was released before a certain date for both consoles we would cs2 for MAT8, which it did, it gave us all at least 2 weeks to get used to the cs2 build. Now with regards to Nemesis, there seems to be an urge to run CSEX, while a good portion of the community has access to the game some don't. Since they ordered the game from Japan because ps3 games aren't region locked typically allowing for the importation of games. The problem with this is that some did not have the funds to afford CSEX import, and others are simply unable to buy CSEX because they do not have a ps3. To me I don't see the sense in entering a tournament for a game that others have had way more access to than myself, whether or not your main is "top-tier" or not, whether or not you go to meetups regularly. At the end of the day, those who don't own the game cannot enter training mode to test the new changes to their main, or how they stack up to old matchups now. The essence of putting money in and registering for a tournament is because we feel in your head at least that you have just as much of an equal chance of winning in that said tournament whether you regularly place in tournaments or not. You believe this because you have had the same access to the game as everybody else. Running CSEX goes against that idea completely since I am competing against people who have had much longer access to the game than myself. I cannot say that I would put money in and participate in a tournament I've already been handicapped in by the time the match starts. Yes cs2, isn't "as cool" as csex, but you're already running a unannounced side tournament which is doubtful to get any extra attendees let a lone a game most people do not have the access to. I cannot support this idea, if there is that much of an urge to run a csex tournament then we don't not need to do it before others have access to the game at a crowded venue at our inconvenience. Why not run a tournament on our own, we can easily take advantage of the publicity from those who allow us to run tournaments at otakuython, could we not. As stated above, why must the blazblue community must run last second tournaments at our complete inconvenience. Why not instead run a tournament that is more convenient for us when csex has been released everywhere and on a date and time where we have access to a proper venue instead of some small corner in a Capcom-saturated venue? These are my thoughts over the last few days/weeks. Dissect, bash, or agree with me. Not that it matters, whatever decision is taken I will support it and make sure it takes place to the best of my ability. EDIT: With regards to the post about kof, this is the best I could find: http://dreamcancel.com/forum/index.php?topic=1797.msg42111#new -

No just an srk account; http://shoryuken.com/forum/index.php?threads/mtlsf-nemesis-3-jan-14th-2012-foonzo-montreal.149610/ Anyways, I don't quite support the idea of running csex for nemesis. I'll explain why I'm partially against the idea when I get home later. -
Too passive at the end, with that many stars, and her having such little health he could've ended I think. And he should've expected the grab at the end. I know that it's all mind games, but I've learned that some characters tend to go for grabs more at the end of their combos more than others. Tao's especially, since they can bring almost out of the screen.
