Before I go to the Sol forums about this... Order Sol vs Sol is even right? It feels like this character has all the right tools to keep Sol honest, at least on oki. Quite annoying to deal with...

I pretty much agree with everything TB, and eh-sama have posted. I've fought quite a few Order Sol's and I can say it's not really in ether character's favor, but Ky, for me draws better slightly throughout the matchup. But once Order Sol is in, you're hard pressed to get him off of you. The matchup isn't terribly in either character's favor, it's like like Ky vs Anji or Order Sol vs Dizzy, both characters have almost the same amount of resources and tools to get in or keep the other out. As TB put it, it's all abut fundamentals and who knows the matchup really. I said Holy Hipster Sol before because, it's true I only play(ed) one or two people who actually know how to play Order Sol.

Partially the same reason no one plays Ky in almost every iteration of GG. They're "boring", more s Axl than Ky from my observation and understanding.

It's not just Elffie, even Bedman people were complaining about. And also Ramlethal too if I remember correctly. There's only a handful of seriously edgy badasses in the game lol.

She's fine, ever since the conception of BB. Everyone has been extra critical for all of Daisuke's character designs lol. Sin's RTL looks nuts, and it all looks bigger than Ky's. Curious to see if he dashes in spurts like in Overture or not. if not, how will it differ from Ky's RTL in terms of functionality.

Holy Hipster Sol. In all seriousness I can count the amount of people I've played in Canada that use Order Sol optimally lol.

As much as I agree with T.B's brief remarks, I'm curious as to what Brandino will extensively write on. When I played Toronto's Order Sol, I had a very hard time keeping him off of me from start to finish. I was able to get around all of that, but I really had to know how to block all of Order Sol's mixup tools in order to do so. Once he got in, he stayed in. He made excellent use of AC's and their FRC points.

I don't think that's his instant kill, I think it's the start up for his RTL. Hard to say.

Any chance we could get a write up on Millia and Chipp? I played a Millia recently, although I've never played one and don't know the matchup I was certain I must avoid getting knocked down under any and all circumstances.

I'm glad to see this sub-forum/thread active for once. EDIT: I feel that Titanium Beast is the most on point when it comes to playing effectively against Ky. Charging is just free damage for me. But learning to build charge stock while staying in on me is significantly harder to deal with, because it makes it hard to get Order Sol off of you because his pressure/tools are just so strong with lvl 2+ and 25%+ meter.

I find when Machabo deviates from Ky he doesn't get as far tourney from my recollection... if so, that's kinda funny that he gets further with a harder character as opposed to a top tier character lol.

How do Order Sol players feel about this from Order Sol's perspective. I'm curious to get the opinion of OG players like Titanium Beast. I have a friend who still feels the neutral game and overall matchup is still in Ky's favor. Thoughts?

^That question needs to go to the GG story thread, and no we don't. But it works in similar fashion to his Thunder Seal.
