Ky sounds more cocky and aggressive when talking during matches. I kinda like it. Good, he kinda loses it too quickly in my opinion sometimes. Can't wait to see it, this games stages are beautiful. I do hope they add a final destination like stage for online purposes. The closest to that right now is Japan i think, and maybe Draconian Falls. -

I think that initially we'll get Sin, and then get extra DLC characters over the course of the game's console lifespan. Like alternate color palettes, and just straight up more colors, there's only 6 kinda lame, even BB had more colors in CT if I remember correctly. Off topic: Would pile bunker be too strong if it wallpinned in the corner? And I find his new attacks to be pretty lack luster compared the new tools that characters like Ky, Sol, and venom got. Slayer's claw attack and stomp are rarely seen in matches. -

Those users that are disappointed are the users who don't have their characters. i'd be disappointed too if I were them. I remember when Overture was announced, I was greatly disappointed in not seeing Ky, but when Daisuke revealed he was in the game, and his new character design, my hype levels jumped through the roof. And Ky being in the game is the reason I bought an xbox and Overture. SO i can empathize with them honestly, and even when Ky was in the game it wasn't as fun for me overall until I unlocked him. -

Yeah, I found them, that reiteration of what Dandyism means by Zato was pretty interesting. Dandyism seems to play a huge part in the Guild. It's written on Venom, it's written on Slayer (on his shoes), and Zato-1 follows it's rules. I wouldn't be surprised if it's written on him too. And it's always written right under the Assassin's Guild logo too... Chipp is hella funny (BUSHIDO!!!), Zato is one hella nice guy now, Ky is still a badass, Bedman talks a lot but says some interesting things it was pretty funny how he quickly got on Sol's nerves.

I can safely say that I can play this character at a competent level. Still somethings it takes some time getting used to. For a easily accessible like Sol, his optimized combos are very technical. But I have a few questions, what are my combo options after BB. more so midscreen. I can't seem to get out 66>2s>2hs>js>SW after a successful jd>SW, am I supposed to cut it short into 2s>2hs>SW, or am I not hitting 66 early enough? I have a hard time ending SW loops with 2hs>BR on weight classes lighter than Johnny, especially after WT, they usually tech right before my 2hs. What do I do? What are my combo options after a successful 6p in the corner on my opponent? Are ACR dustloops harder than #R/Xrd dustloops? Because I have been trying to learn to do 6p>5hs>jd>dustloop. It's hard as fuck, and I'm worried that dustloops have always been this hard to perform... When am I going to get some sets in with VR-Raiden? That is all for my questions my fellow Frederick comrades

Slayer's pressure in Xrd seems nowhere as strong as it used to be in AC/ACR, it seems easier to punish him and mash out of his pressure. Or is it just me?

According to Daisuke/Pachi (can't remember who) they both have roughly the same popularity. But as both Daisuke and Johnny players in this forum have said, Johnny is fairly more complex to utilize optimally than Slayer. So I see him at the top of the waiting list, I'd love to see and Xrd set between Satou's Johnny against Machaboo's Ky again. Also I saw Satou play Millia, this guy's neutral game is insane, but I guess that comes with playing Johnny. He's a very honest character, I don't know who's more honest, him or Ky. -

I'm pretty sure if this game flopped they would've been on the verge of bankruptcy I mean they literally put all their eggs in one basket. Heck, they had practically forgone ACR for the sake of this games release lol, and you could see how much money they invested in the game when you look at the arcade cutscenes. Luckily, they made a smart choice, but it was hella risky from a financial standpoint. -

I think hs fuujin would be a bit too strong, and very difficult to react to, Hammerfall just has one hit of superarmor and is slow as fuck compared to hs fuujin. Unless they make it so that only a certain distance of start up frame sis YRCable. But honestly Anji lacks pokes, and Johnny I see being playable earlier on since Daisuke was choosing between him and Slayer. It speaks volumes to me honestly, but I can't say Slayer is easier than Johnny. The only thing "complex" about Johnny from my perspective is the coin/mist finer mechanic. Otherwise I'd say they're about the same if not, Johnny is easier. Just my opinion of course, no reason for me to be called a Poopoo Head. -

I can imagine Johnny getting YRC coins, I don't know Baccus Sigh though. Well really what matchups are x character having a hard time with, and what do you think would help them in their design to overcome these character design flaws. Sol had a hard time getting in and staying in-Kudakero, Ky had a hard time against characters who zone better than him-Durandal Call. I never really played X-XX, but from what I understood, Johnny has always been nerfed in every iteration of GG. I doubt this'll be the case, he DID get buffed in ACR from what I understand. So what is he lacking, what is Jam lacking, Anji lacks pokes for instance and has a hard time dealing with characters that have great screen control; Axl and Ky among others. lol -

Since this is a speculation thread. What do you guys think Daisuke would give to cast members when they enter Xrd, what would make them both stronger and compliment their play styles? Like Sol having a useful DI for fraudulent comeback purposes, and Kudakero as a means of getting in. Ky with his new 3hs(?), Split Ciel, and Durancal Call. Axl with his new full screen stance and (I think) a more improved dp. Venom and his new super Bishop Runout and his new jd. What do you guys think characters like Johnny, Jam, Baiken, Order Sol, hell even Overture characters like Sin and Izuna would get once when make their debut in the 2.5 world? Everyone loses their FB's but some characters like Chipp's Kabuki, correct me if I'm wrong, work a lot like his FB from what i see.
