lol Ohhhh ok, so it was true at least at some point. That Zidane was the nicest at GG, is he still just as nice? Or did he drop off over the years, because back when I was lurking the forums pre/post AC console release back in '07 I NEVER heard anyone say ANYTHING about him.

Do it one friend at a time. But where do you live exactly, maybe there's community in your area that you just don't know about?

Yea I already find stick amazing. "it's power is flowing into me" as any generic anime character would say it. Hmmm with regards to execution I would say yes it was, at least just as hard. With the implementation of force breaks and such and "super instant blocking" I would say AC is the hardest. Once I'm done with exams I'll be grinding it out with my stick, I can't wait this thing is awesome. I use hakumen in blazblue, Ky kiske is guilty gear. I'm guessing you use ragna and sol/order sol?

Were you serious back in the cs match up thread that zidane was the best GG player in America as coined by the japanese? Or you were being sarcastic/trolling?
-
BB has tighter execution in cs, I feel this especially with hakumen. I can't tell how combo executions are because I'm currently learning stick right now in BB and its going easy but I played ps2 pad for AC. I still have an easier time doing ky's combos compared to hakumens though.

I played GGX on the dreamcast, that was my introduction. Then onward to Isuka (which was fun, not a competitive game, just more fun oriented) on the ps2, then Reloaded on the xbox. Playing on the xbox's dpad was terrible and I lost all the time to my friends, since I couldn't practice and it was rebalanced and etc. Which made me get into AC, except this time seriously, which is how I found DL. Going from any GG to AC is a BIG jump especially in N.A. All the characters were completely rebalanced and redone, while I was a hardcore scrub with ky until AC, everything was different for me to learn. Along with the introduction of force breaks, ky's has a difficult input, long with his force break overdrive. Most of ky's combos led into the vapor thrust loop which, once you get it and how it's done is easy to set up and do.

Both games, more so GG. When I first started playing, I never so many characters in a fg cast that worked so differently. just because you're good with Ky doesn't mean you could stomp someone with sol/order sol or even potemkin. It's a very in depth game, once you know you're character and your match ups you're set, which is the same thing in BB. It's not about pretty looking combos, it's about know how to use your character effectively against each member of the cast. Knowing combos is so that you can punish your opponent properly in any given circumstance, that's all. That's what GG is about.

BB and GG compliment one another. If you've played one it'll improve or at least give you basic skills in the other. But GG is tougher, I can't really give you an estimate because I haven't seriously played GG in over 2 years. FRC's make a big difference between the two games to be honest, there's a lot of strict timing that takes a lot of practice to be able to execute. A lot more options offensively and not so much defensively. And characters are vastly different form one another, it takes time to learn a character and how to use them and their arsenal of attacks effectively. But if I had to quantify it, I would say twice as hard, also twice as fun. Oh and punishing lol, in GG one mistake could turn a match around. When you watch pros like buppa/kaqn/shounen go at it you'll see what I mean. But it's almost the same thing in BB as well, but GG you have to be more careful getting greedy could cost you the fight.

GG is faster, harder, has cooler cast for the most part. BB has more aesthetics, finishers are wayyy better than GG, order sol having the sickest ones. GG is more rewarding the the more strategically offensive players. But GG is not as accessible as BB. Hence why a lot of gg players play bb now as well. And there are those, like me, who don't play GG anymore (though it's also because I lent someone my ps2). Let me know if you have anymore GG questions, I'm a scrub at it but I know it a lot more in depth than most would think.

lol Back again, the increasing bar is what I would call a "proration bar". The more you block attacks even with faultless defense, the more is rises. The high it rises the more damage you'll take if you get hit, I haven't played GG in a while. But if I remember correctly if the bar is maxed out and you're hit, even if you weren't attacking you'll be put into a counter hit state. For instance ky's super rtl, normally does 136 or so damage on a neutral "proration" bar level, but if it's maxed out, rtl will do like 356 WITH counter hit. Conversely, the more you combo an opponent the more the bar will shrink, once there is nothing in their bar, you'll only be doing 1 damage or so. Even if you super. Hopefully that clarifies everything up again.

Wow, I finally found it. I don't know why spark didn't go for any yukikaze's unless it's a scrub move to do while arakune is in fever mode. It'll take pretty much tack any attack arakune does except for a grab, which is rare during a fever mode block string. He could've also used a wake up hotaru once or twice for a fatal. Anyone who is aggressive eats tk hotaru from me. But I'm only half as good as spark anyways. Wow my heart was broken seeing him lose. I was expecting him to take it, lol I didn't even notice you were his partner lol. Also, thanks for the dp motion advice, I was able to occasionally pull off hakus bnb. At this rate I might use my stick in the next big tournament, I never knew playing on a stick was THIS effective. I can't imagine NOT playing on one now.

Oh ok, thanks ZONG. I'll try searching again. If I can't find it, I'll be back to harass you <3

I'm under the assumption you're "trolling"/sarcastic. But just in case: http://iplaywinner.com/news/2010/11/2/mago-to-attend-canada-cup-2010.html scroll down to "What is Canada Cup", what a weird location it's in since in a location that has no BB but hosted a BB side tournament from what I gathered...
