Oh shit, who is this model, SEND LINKZ!!!! Yea spark did makoto and valk, I would be surprised if whatever program he's in university it has nothing to do with math/science. I never knew he posts in the carl forums, I'm guessing that's his sub, he occasionally posts in the haku forums (because that's his main). But the way you're making it sound that's his sub character. But yea love both those dudes, and the overall maturity in the hakumen forums. I've never seen someone post about whinning and etc. It's always serious talk, even the general discussion thread it just about gameplay stuff + tournament talk.

(Message word limit): I'm a visual learner, I can't understand combos when they are written (learning disability keeps me from doing that), I need to see it visually to understand. But spark plays like tenchi I guess so that suffices, ryoko, well I've only seen one match of his solid haku. So I can't say. Stay "the only carl I watch" ZONG<3

lol I'll ask SJ then, in a sec. I really wanna know, he SEEMED serious when I read it. Yea I find spark is a great mod to be honest. Knows the frame data on point, knows hakumen thoroughly. Able to answer any and all questions with regards to hakumen, like the mystery of hakumens 2c and why it wasn't cutting any projectiles. I think it was a developers mistake, it doesn't cut projectiles like how ti used to in ct. I don't know why they did that, but they did it, apparently they fixed it in cs2 though. Ryoko is the other side of the hakumen mod coin, without mod status. If the haku forums were outta control like the other ones I would nominate ryoko for haku comod. His info is legit, he had a recent post about resets and pressure tactics with haku.

Can't argue there but I can ask spark and ryoko questions, not tenchi/zero/suzume . I thought he was being honest, oh well...

Yea it was amazing, I could tell he wasn't used playing litchi/sG because there wasn't tenchilike IB going on. But that would explain a lot, since there isn't much vids of him >_> and ryoko is just too damn lazy to record vids of himself and he's too lazy to go to tournaments. So I'm stuck watching japanese hakumen players during my free time >_>.... But zidane being that good in gg was said by SJ in BBCS match up thread during one of dacid and zidane's "bromance convos". I remember reading that. Which is hard to believe, but then again I've never seen him play either. But then again nor have I ever heard of him prior to when he really started posting all over the place.

I wish there were more matches of spark. I love to disect his play, I love tenchi and zero. Zero was i sbo last year but got sweeped by dora. He always has more innovative combos but his fundamentals and hit confirm/combo set up won't be as nice as tenchi. He really leveled up in cs, a92 I haven't seen much though. And while you may have "LOST TO DAT NIGGA DAT DOESN'T PLAY THE GAME" he also has years more experience in fighting games than most people in north america. And if you didn't give him info about carl i doubt he would have won, imo though. But maybe then you and zidane should just go at it for people to see, I find that match up very technical. You really need to know what you're doing, and I'll assume zidane is gdlk as well since he was regarded as the best gg player in N.A if I remember correctly.

Well SCR made you famous. The "nigga who played murderface from japan". The podcast is really good, it's like an hour and 20 minutes though. So you need to dedicate time for it, I listened to it while practicing on my stick. Your skills surpass your niggrocity on dustloop imo. How about you and zidane? On paper carl v.s hazama is 50-50 no? But there's so many thing to pay attention to and analyze. I could see what L.K was talking about, I personally have minimal combos especially compared to the other hakus in my city, but I know my match ups more. Which is the reason why I win, I don't spend my time learning unnecessary shit like mugen lol. Just need the basics to win. I also find spark plays A LOT like tenchi lately.

Good info about carl, thanks. t12 (name might change). Is the biggest canadian fighting game tournament. Brice went last year, came back leveled up as fuck. In ct I was a lot better than him, but I also used to play more because hakumen sucks. It takes place in Toronto, sometime is early september (I think it's always labour day weekend) before school starts. I have some fam in toronto anyways, so I'm hoping to go. Maybe I could see you there one day. Speaking of tournaments and matches, I'll assume you listened to LK's podcast. I'm hoping you mods will actually try to create a streaming match soon, I would say either you zidane, or spark to play. But you're more famous than they are lol.

My problem from watching TONS of matches was I was mashing too much c not enough a and b against lambda. One of the 3 contributing reasons for me finally buying a stick so that I can learn hakus a>s.j.c.a combos, which I need. Lambda and tager both require patience, when magnetized DON'T MOVE nor attack to much lol. A lot of people don't realize magnetization could be capitalized on, since it's really the only time tager can be aggressive, that's when I pull out counters. Lambda you need patience and execution for when you find an opening, you also need to know when and how to cut projectiles. From my personally experience. And it's probably from the tournament results, he won both of monthly tournaments. I'm also hoping to come down for evo next year, if all works out. Maybe not
but I plan on attending t12.
CARL I have no idea what to do against him. I've seen tenchi beast at this match up but I haven't really played it.

First off what is NEC? No one ever explained it to me. And where did you read that about brice? Brice, Rameo (who is also a top mtl player in ssf4), kirbster, and me are mtl's best imo. I tend to place in top 3 for any tournament once I can use the 360 shit dpad though. Kirbster when we played like 2 months ago was better than me, but I've since gotten the lambda/rachel match ups with haku. He's the dude I wanna rematch. Brice has won every tournament in cs he's participated in. Wicked shenanigans, I personally need to level up to play him since his trump card on me is that he has more experience in the haku/tager match up >_> And about zeero, maybe brice exaggerated him a bit... And I feel sorry for grapple characters period, you can't airdash/run. All you get is an almost gdlk backdash and one of two moves that are invincible to projectiles.

Brice is from my city, Montreal. He plays tager, lol if I told him you said this he would get a MASSIVE ego boost. You might catch vids of him as he's going to a semi big tourney in Toronto. Overall people in Toronto are better than us in Montreal but, we've come a long way since last year. Yea zeero wrecked brice when they played last year at t11, granted, brice has next to know experience with a good carl. Zeero's gameplay consists of "ja to 5k" from what I heard:v: Is kousaka is nasty as they say he is btw?

Lol tk I was able to do from day one on stick with haku, iad I got better at it last night, at first it was hard though. I do however need to learn to do hop specials I sucked at those even on pad. Once I can do all the motions consistently I go into combos then into playing properly. I'm estimating a month for inputs and another month for combos, and then x months for proper gameplay. <3 P.S "zeero" is supposedly the best canadian player. He uses carl, incase you didn't know. I haven't played him personally but that's the word in Canada. Kousaka, the arakune comod, is up there too in Canada.

YOU LIE :o Yea the "learning a stick" thread was a bit misleading by saying it takes 6-12 months to be efficient/learn stick >_> thought it was a bit exaggerated... Anyways thanks zong. I'll be back to harass you before long <3
-
Ok thanks, I have a feeling that motion will take me the longest =\ I've gotten pretty much every other motion roughly down. Last question, how long does it take on average to learn to play stick.
