I'm not sure what you guys mean by extending combos, but even in CS2 it was never worth it to go for double super unless it killed. Same exact deal in EX. Combos are pretty much identical except for the occasional j.2c > pumpkin oki ender.

Aww Soph I literally missed you by 2 minutes when I logged on. One would think that netplay + stick would equal rage, but I don't feel the lag as much with it... thanks to Vice-Taicho for putting up with me. Finally got time to watch this now that exams are done. I honestly can't find much stuff to criticize aside from a few instances of missed hitconfirm opportunities and some bad decisions. Your pressure, spacing, execution... all top notch IMO. I feel more like giving praise haha. I really like your wall carrying with 5b > j.3xn, it will be useful in EX now that we can't rely on fork as much. Near the end you looked like you were autopiloting it a bit with risky stuff like winded j.2c and cat chair, and being pretty low on wind... but I know that when you gotta fight back NOW, it's not like you can just sit there and save it. All in all this was really solid play. Sorry I couldn't be really helpful Now, for anyone who's interested, here are some Rachel mirrors between me and K2 at NEC in BBEX. Pretty fun stuff, we have different styles and it was a blast to play. Parts 4 and 5 are pretty much just me actually, here's a bunch of notable matches (keep in mind that none of us were really familiar with the new game, it was just for fun) : vs K2 vs Kousaka vs Omnisscythe (nerfed Makoto is so much less scarier) vs A.X.I.S.'s Plat (I get bodied xD)

Ok, I played a lot of EX today cuz we preordered Japanese copies. One thing I noticed is that CH 6b will only wallbounce if you hit them with the tip of the fork (or a little bit closer that that). Point blank CH 6b will just send them away like CS2. This doesn't really matter since 6b is only really useful at max range honestly. And confirming off of it is actually really easy once you get used to dashing in deep right away.

God, had a casuals session tonight and it's so hard to play well with that thing... can't do dash 3c consistently, having trouble with QCF motions, air dashing... but I land lvl2 j.2c's fine o_O. I relapsed to pad for a couple of matches lol. I must be worthy of this amazing gift, but sometimes I fear I'll never get to my pad level >.< @Gli : another good idea IMO. If it's used properly... if there's one thing I learned at NEC, it was stagger pressure. Sometimes you just wanna mash out, and this looks like it might be useful for that. Rachel is not very good at it since her 5a is -2 on block, but it's still really hard to deal with (Xie's Platinum ).

Gli, that's some really creative stuff. Definitely worth looking into, it literally looks unblockable lol (to anyone who's never seen it at least). I'm sure it can be useful, but gotta make sure to have enough wind to finish the combo properly. I've seen a bunch of people do a blockstring ending in a lobelia RC, dash and continue pressure... this looks even better. And Rachel builds meter like crazy, so I don't think it would be a waste. Also, I'm officially making the jump from pad to stick. I have no choice... take a look at the gift I got for my bday last week : I felt like I needed to share this with my fellow Rachel devotees... my friends have been keeping this a secret from me for like 2 months. I don't think I've ever been more surprised in my life. It's got my color, my handle, my age... damn. brb practicing stick all day!
