Thanks for the feedback everyone. I played the matchup as best as I could, but the first time I had really fought a Tao was the day before, and it was actually me getting bodied by XDest himself lol. TD, I agree with most of what you said. I had trouble baiting the CA and bursts, because I always thought "no way he'll do it here" but I didn't adapt fast enough. I usually have quite varied blockstrings, but it was so hard to pin Tao down, so whenever I got a chance at pressure, my mental ressources were a bit drained and I pretty much autopiloted it >.< @Herbal Grey : For a self proclaimed casual player I think you're really good lol. I could feel the lag in those matches but we can really see that you have a good gamesense. Nice spacing and good hitconfirm... basically you know Rachel well, just gotta work on decision making I guess. If I had to point out a few things, it would be that you don't use 6a nearly enough, especially against Ragna. That move is gdlk, use that instead of cat chair for anti-aircraft. Work on those hitconfirms a bit too. I was a little sad at the first match, you had him in the corner xD but he's a really good Jin from what I know.

There's a small BB scene in Ottawa, I've been to one of their tourneys back in the CS1 days and a few of their players recently came to participate in T12. They're not very active but they're always happy to welcome new players. Check out their site. For the instant overhead, try to start off by making them block a jump cancellable move like 5a or 5b, buffer 2d during the blockstun, and do a rising j.a. The wind should keep you from jumping too high and it'll connect.
