Never tested. I'm guessing it does work fine for the majority of combos where you can do 2A > 5B without bluebeat (note: 2A > Sturm will always work as well as it has the same start-up as 5B). There's probably even some specific spacing that makes 2A > 5B > 2C work, but it's just that Makoto's vertical air hitbox is so thin that it probably becomes unstable. 1) I pretty much only use meter for the following: Counter Assault (mash it), jC RC (instant overhead), 236B RC (damage/reverse proration), 236A RC (hitconfirm/pressure), 3C RC (in CS2, helps with confirms), midscreen Himmel RC combo, Super RC combos, wolf cannon RC (if you really want the frame advantage), ending rounds with supers and generally just making unsafe moves safe (e.g. match-up specific: do a move against Bang and he guardpoints it > rc to not take damage) ... 2) It's a good move honestly. It's basically his only meterless "reversal", and it's pretty rewarding for a reversal. Better than having no meterless reversal whatsoever. 3) Extend? Worst - I personally don't think he has any bad match-ups. I would like to say his most troublesome match-ups are Ragna and Litchi ... (personal bias). Best - Tager. If you play like Masashi, it feels like an unwinnable match-up. Wolf movement straight up negating magnetism really hurts.

So I foundo out it's easier to do jC > land 5B relaunch on Makoto, but it's required because of you try to do jC > land 2A > 5B > 2C relaunch on Makoto, the 2C will whiff :/. Just wondering, anyone else playing with Extend Valkenhayn here or no ...

Danisens aren't actually "tournies" per se. It's just a ranking system. If you want an actual tournament, the only way this would work is Team Tourney. I don't think anyone's realized this, but if you look at any Gety tourney during CS1, the smallest singles tourney we've ever done is 14 people (Source: Community Leader Linear04). Every other tourney has been reasonable even with 16+ people because they have all been team tournies. Even when we did team tournies they lasted a looong time. So yea. Team Tournies only at Gety.

Tourney STILL lasted forever though :/. Fucking Tager matches take too long. 19 turnout is pretty good though . Big Thanks to Mr. Mortified for bringing sticks. Tourney was a disaster sorry guys. Nazir too fucking beast. He raped face so hard he broke the cab with his godliness. He beasted so hard I felt sorry for everyone and gave refunds to everyone just so they didn't feel so free. We're going to do tournies in the future on console only. Lesson learned.
