na there's no arcade update yet, but i'm pretty sure they're going to have a new arcade update with all the balance changes, dlc characters, etc. just not now ... kof xiii ultimate match or some shit (or kof xiv).

x-factor potemkin will be like day 1 vanilla mvc3 anchor sentinel. really big shame that the console version of kof xiii is so different from the arcade version ... it'd be nice to just practice at home and apply that stuff in arcade, but it isn't going to happen. at least provide a patch/update for the arcade version snk :/.

Complete balance readjustment and a bunch of system changes. System changes listed here: http://wiki.shoryuken.com/The_King_of_Fighters_XIII/Game_Revisions, character revisions listed somewhere but too long to list and probably not relevant if you haven't played the original game. All you need to know is that Raiden got nerfed and if you played Raiden in arcade version you'd probably quit the game because of how dumb he was (but now no longer as dumb).

KOF 5v5 was so hype. Too bad the arcade version isn't the same as the console version.

i was looking at the toronto thread a year ago. wow we were so active back then. 10+ posts a day. random super srs arguments every 2 weeks or so. everyone playing gear alongside bb, cause that's just how it was like. i miss those days .

I was being facetious with my last post goldenxservbot if that wasn't obvious (along with a few other posts). I'm not even doing fancy combos and I rarely if ever go for fancy resets. I was serious when I said I kept things simple and I usually go for really easy/stable confirms. Seriously, if you watch any recorded vids of me (only a few), none of the combos I go for are hard at all. LK's completely correct when he says Valk combos are "loose" and only a few combos truly require any sort of precision (i.e. 4 cannon combos off throws, w236B > 2c~5c > IAD jB > delay jA combos, flug link after sturm, all of which I never try to do in serious matches and the 4 cannon combos I did vs SuperScience really aren't hard tbh). Mind you I still dropped the easy combos cause lol I'm a scrub? I don't even think Hima is that fancy :/.
