Yea, the new corner bnbs seem to be confirm into cannons into jC relaunch into 2C > 6C etc. (which as far as I know should do more damage than his other combos). I suspect the new max damage corner combos will be something like: 2C 6B 5C tk mondlicht 4 cannons jC 2A 2C 6C etc. Also, instead of doing 2C 6B 5B 2C in corner combos, replacing 5B with 236A seems to be standard now as long as you haven't used it earlier in the combo. Any use for 236Bx2 now outside of 236B RC for bonus proration though?

Since TTT RXS kindly volunteered his time to do a stream for the DL community, we should try to take advantage of this and expose the airdash community as whole to Toronto. Be sure to say thanks to Vince! Nothing fancy really, this is just a small tourney to say farewell to CS2 before CSEX comes out, and it's a nice bit of practice for those of us planning to go to NEC. Format X-Copied From NeoRussell ... DATE AND TIME: Nov 13th Doors open at 12 and end at 7. Sign-ups start at 12, tournies should start going around 2pm. Keeping this flexible. LOCATION AND ADDRESS: A&C World - 702A Spadina Avenue DIRECTIONS: Spadina and Bloor or Spadina Station then head 1 block south. Go downstairs. VENUE FEE: $5 PARTICIPATION FEE: $5 Per tournament. STREAM Stream will be provided by TTT RXS. Vince is kindly doing this as a favor to our community for participating at so many TTT events, so thanks Vince! Stream can be found at Justin.TV/TorontoTopTiers ______________________ OFFICIAL TOURNAMENTS: I don't expect this to be too large, so I won't be quick to disqualify people or anything. I'll be directing BB and GG for the most part. AH3 and Melty will be tentatively scheduled since they depend on the appearance of the Waterloo crew (thanks guys). If we have less than 8 people for a tournament, I'll suggest running a round robin. Either way, every game should get a chance at the stream. Blazblue Continuum Shift 2 (PS3) $5 entry Double elimination tournament 2 out of 3 games per match 3 out of 5 games grand finals only Guilty Gear Accent Core (PS2) $5 entry Double elimination tournament 2 out of 3 games per match 3 out of 5 games grand finals only Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code v1.07 (Arcade Board) $5 entry Double elimination tournament 2 out of 3 games per match 3 out of 5 games grand finals only Arcana Heart 3 (PS3) $5 entry Double elimination tournament 2 out of 3 games per match 3 out of 5 games grand finals only ___________________ PRIZE DISTRIBUTION: All tournaments will have a distribution of 70/20/10. ___________ EQUIPMENT: I just need console set-ups. If you can, please send me a message if you can volunteer a set-up. ____________________________________ PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN STICKS/CONTROLLERS: ___________________________________ If you have any questions, ask here or shoot me a PM. Any questions about the venue or the stream, probably should shoot a question at RXS @ rxs@torontotoptiers.com. ______________________ PRE-REG LIST: - Akuun - Bill307 - Ernovaku - DeadliestxXx - Fugu - K2 - kellfire - kousaka - Kylkrie - LanX5 - Leo7 - Linear04 - MadScientist - magus704 - poiyo - Roldy - S-Blade - Sanasanasan - Worldjem7 - Zeero

Most of you guys are good for November 13th right? edit: it's up to you guys as to whether you want to do tournaments or a casual streaming session. In terms of games: currently I'm planning on having BB and GG around, but if Waterloo shows up, I've asked that they bring MBAACC 1.07 and probably Arcana Heart 3. If there's any interest in any other game please speak up. Given the size of this community, I don't expect this to be too large of a gathering, but let's do this anyways lol.

What the fuck. The world ain't big enough for two CaButlers. I mean if there are two CaButlers running around, you all better hope the next tournament you enter donates their venue fee and pot money to the Canadian Paraplegic Association, cause when shit goes down, you're all gonna need wheelchairs. -

No that was not meant for Steb a.k.a. Lame Dipshit Hazama #237, that was meant for you, Dodging Haku-Men #22. If I find you at a tournament, some limbs will be fucking broken. That's not a threat, that's a guarantee. So start dodging, since that's all you can do. -

Not much Blade ... But next time, how about learning to fight like a fucking man cause I do not like chasing people across the fucking stage just to fight them. Change it now or meet me at a tournament so I can break your limbs for wasting my fucking time doing that, you asshole. -

Going to make a post here similar to my Ragna post: Makoto has several moves that move her forward before her active frames. 5B, 5C, 3C and I think 2C? As a result, it extends her hurtbox on start-up prior to her active frames. You can stuff these moves pre-emptively with Valk's 6B. i.e. if a Makoto likes doing 3C in the beginning the round, just do 6B in the beginning of the round for a free fatal. Look at the hitbox of 6B(2): http://www.dustloop.com/guides/bbcs2/frameData/valkenhayn/vh211_08.png It's rather large and doesn't extend Valk's hurtbox much, while Makoto's 5B extends his hurtbox all the way forward. If you place a 6B just out of range of 5B (which is actually quite a large distance) and the Makoto tries to rush in with a 5B, you can score a fatal during the 6B(2) active frames into a huge damage combo anywhere on screen. Try this in training mode. It also works against misplaced dash 2As. 6B is also a decent parry punish. Some Makoto's like doing parries after certain block strings to punish mashing, but if you do 6B, it will be too slow to activate the parry and you'll get a free combo. Watch this video for reference: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RW6M-3cPjU8 Oh and another thing about this match-up. Bait Big Bang Smashes. Either make it whiff (wolf, fly up up up) or try to stuff it on start-up somehow.

@ 50-50: just sturm dead spikes. anyways, this is one of my personal worst match-ups buuuut, here's some advice: Ragna's 5B is a move that moves Ragna forward a bit. As a result, it extends his hurtbox on start-up prior to his active frames. Because of this, 6B(2) becomes a viable footsie option against Ragna. Look at the hitbox of 6B(2): http://www.dustloop.com/guides/bbcs2/frameData/valkenhayn/vh211_08.png It's rather large and doesn't extend Valk's hurtbox much, while Ragna's 5B extends his hurtbox all the way forward. If you place a 6B just out of range of 5B (which is actually quite a large distance) and the Ragna tries to rush in with a 5B, you can score a fatal during the 6B(2) active frames into a huge damage combo anywhere on screen. Try this in training mode.

I tend to use Rozen a lot ... Catches Rachels who like to jump back/backdash a lot by surprise. Given the way the match-up works, they'll always try to create space in neutral to get a pumpkin out, so they're all going to be a bit jumpy. Rozen can also pre-emptively stop ground lobelias if you think they're going to throw it out in neutral. It's almost impossible to time this perfectly :/

I WANT DAT ARCHETYPE EARTH.
