Final match was rather intense, so nice to way. Very close match, for sure. I'm still kind of surprised how well I did, making it to 4th place without any intentions of even making it THAT far. It's too bad, we had a close match however we were defeated by the El Fuerte who sent us to losers (the winning team's partner). My partner chocked it up and didn't get the chip damage on him, causing him to lose the match. I didn't know how to deal with the Fuerte, so I just lost, heh ;p But if my partner did landed the chip damage, we would've literately had a chance at 1st place... which is kind of scary to know

Going back to FPS after it's basically declared that fighting games are becoming the new main stream thing now? Don't get raped too hard in CS ;o

Ugh, so there's no possible chance that people outside of Japan will be getting the latest version of Blaz CS. Sucks, guess we'll have to wait it out once again. I don't mind the updates, but to leave the scene outside of Japan hanging like this is ridiculous :/

Of course. However, you can't justify the results of another tournament to immediately determined who they believe should be eligible the go to SBO. The SBO quals at Planet Zero is necessary for this occasion. What? I was informed otherwise. However, if he can't make it, then it does makes sense (it was so close to Evo after all). With that said, I'm wondering, is there any info of any out of state players attending this event?

For now, Spark has proven to be the strongest player in America so far. Granted, the scene still needs time to evolve seeing as how the game is still "new". But if we wanted to send a strong player in time for SBO, then Spark would be the best choice. Of course, this isn't for any of us to decide, it all depends on the results at the SBO quals

I believe I heard LK is attending this event. If so, I'm more than sure he heard it before hand to, assuming that the rest of the community would've known? However, it may have been trouble some of people knew the original date before hand, seeing as how I stated before, the official date for this tournament changed a week later after Evo.

Don't be an such an naive idiot. I keep warning people of what will happen by attending this event. If you go, you will lose respect from the fighting game community as a whole (this includes all of Texas). Besides, you won't win. Not because of your skill, but for other reasons there.

The topic for the announcement on MashHarder.com was made on June 22nd and about a week ago changed the official date of SBO quals a week later. Maybe it was last minute for them as well?
