Yup! Sounds about right.
-
It has, however I wouldn't worry too much about it at this point. From what I'm being told, there isn't much left in the arcade in terms of the community. Is basically drying up, now. SHIT JUST GOT REAL! :o
-
Unfortunately, yes, it's the same arcade. From what I heard, there mischief still continues, however it seems like they are paying for it in the long run in terms of the fighting game community. In order for them to even obtain SBO spots for any game at this point, they need to pull some strings around and hopefully get there spots. In return, they are the only people who actually have to pay Aksys and SBO staff for there reputation. Even when spots for SBO are announce, the staff of SBO pretends to act like they are doing nothing in relations to PZ arcade. Players like Kensou and Kip Viper are known there, but as a joke to the American fighting game community. Basically, when taking sponsorship of PZ, you are immediately look down upon to the popular players in Japan, and at times, they just pretend you don't exists (seeing as how that's the better method). You can even find info on all this related to the boards on the jap BBS for SBO (don't have link at this time, nor will I know where to find it, but it supposedly easy to find). It's sad to know that these type of players need to rig brackets and cheat there way to the top, when they are nothing but below average players and have yet to surpass that level. I'm always surprise as to how low people like that go just due to how selfish they are. Guys remember that tournament where 4th place for SF4 AE got to go to SBO? This was last year, and yes, it's THAT shady. It's pathetic, but some people can actually live that........
-
Just SF4 AE. There was no possible way for anyone to get BlazBlue spots unless you did a fucked up method behind it. Speaking of which, PZ is having Blaz SBO spots, I believe. Don't know what this "method" is, but it makes the SBO staff laugh, apparently.

You... BASTARD!! (yeah, SBO quals only for SF4 this weekend)

-
Ah, so it's only through the NESiCA system, eh? Sucks, the non-NES kit lacks this feature as well as the extra colors (you get the default 12 colors that come with it) sad face...
-
How much money will spend at UFO today?! :o
-
His power is too great, it will destroy you!!! :o

Wow, even the music?! Now that I think about it, the Noel vs Jin match I saw was not playing the song that plays when those 2 fight. I've never seen this option!! UNGH!! ;_;
-
Is this possible to do? Watching matches, I notice characters on stages they don't belong, or thought was not possible to enter to begin with. Saw a match with Jin vs Noel, they fought on a stage that used to be Hakumen's CT stage. But when I fought a Noel at the arcade, we played in the imperial palace (or whatever it's called, Noel/Jin's stage). Watching a match right now, it's a Hakumen vs Plat, and they are fighting on Tsuabaki's stage. Here at the arcade, I see 2 people pick these characters, and they played on Plat's stage. Explain this to me, someone!! ;_;

Nope, walking off was a better answer

The thing is, why I lost was the issue. If you feel like you needed to give advice on something that was a personal mistake on my behalf, then you don't know what happened during the match. I lost because I underestimated the type of mix up copperdabit was going to do, which was a huge mistake on my part. Had nothing to do with me not understanding when and when not to burst, and those who came up to me told me how stupid I was for assuming such a thing. You need to understand what the players are thinking before jumping in, trying to give advice on something the player already knows. And it's obvious you're not even close to that level to understand what the 2 players are thinking. Has nothing to do who's better to worse, but rather, knowledge. I listen to people worse than me all the time (Street Fighter scene knows whats up), but I know when someone isn't knowledgeable to give me proper feed back (they should be ignored obviously).

The scene has no issue growing at all. We can get better as a team, but the problem is that you're the only one having issues trying to get better and you seem to taking out on the rest of the players. I don't know how you developed this attitude, but it's getting annoying. I always have broken down what's wrong with your game, however, just recently I stop explaining your problems because you refuse to change any of it (so what's the point). This is how I see it, you have no potential, and there is no hope in your game at this point until you change your attitude. I always found it funny how you would tell me how you gave FlameIce advice and he ignored you for it, and you went on telling me "yup, he he'll never learn". I was not joking when I told you "reminds me of someone I know" and strongly hinted towards you. I don't understand where this cocky attitude of yours developed, but if you feel like you're at a level were you don't need help or feel like you can understand how to adapter on your own, then that's whatever. We all tried to help you, but at this point we've given up. Even Jesse feels like if he had 2 more weeks with the game, he would defeat with no problems, which I will say, he can, and it's 100% possible. To say you can't use normal pokes is the most vague advice anyone can give, this literally can mean anything. And of course I made fun of you for it, why wouldn't I? It's hard to take advice on someone who knows nothing of the Noel match up. Not to mention, with this attitude you developed, it's hard to take anything you say seriously, due to how you underestimate everyone's play no matter the situation. Your ideas are off, and you feel like your better than what you really think. Stop bringing up as if "the scene" has issues growing up, because we've never had any issues in the past. The only problem is you, and you can bringing down the scene with you when something goes wrong. Stop doing that, because the problem is obvious. I love lag.

Our scene can get better, it's just that there are selective people that won't get better. Example... Me: Hey Marcell, this is what you're doing wrong. Marcell: Ok, let me go ahead and NEVER LISTEN to your advice, and doing getting punish for the same mistakes, over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over. And get confused as to why I keep losing!!! Round Rock Tager and the SA scene can get better, they are smart in how they play (the Rachel and Noel player). Only a matter of time till they get better, however I won't stop seeing as how Hsien still continues to play Make it up by playing me online again :D
-
I want to play people... who make me think... That's like, Hsien, and Round Rock Tager. And Markus once he gets better ;o
-
Any idea when you guys will be hitting up Austin? Or better yet, any SA tournaments happening any time soon for Blaz?
-
I'm only interested in playing da tager player :x
