If you're not going to summon after knockdown, you might as well 5B. If she is mashing, that is one of your best starters and if she actually blocks, all of your pressure starts from 5B. So there's really no reason not to (unless you want to try lulzing and do meaty 5C).

I generally find that pumpkin is pretty useful against Noel. Also, after 3C knock down you want to do meaty 5B instead of summon. Just trust me on this one... TD- If they're mashing 2D, you can do what gli does and end your blockstrings with 6A (though watch out if they figure out that they can mash 4D instead). A cannon will also work except against 5D. But yeah... 2C is also decent if they're just mashing stupidly. Rachel really has a hard time trying to win this fight mid screen at close range since Noel's risk/reward is better than Rachel's when Noel's the one who's knocked down (she'll eat 3-4.5k if you're the one to guess right, but if she's the one to guess right, you eat 4-6k). Go for corner carry as soon as possible. If you suspect she's going to CA through stuff, you can 3C which will trip her or walk backwards (she'll end up in front of you and you can just smack her back into the corner).

You got it. :3 Just make sure you guys don't fill up on pizza this time. C0R- I think they mean the dates/times for each game. That'd help a lot since last time BB was at NWM at 9am (which is why I didn't go).

You dropped that last combo and that's when you died. Though, that's also how I died in team tourney. Actually, a lot of Rachels died because of dropped combos... But it was good how you adjusted once you learned the secret of ORE GA BARRIER. TD- Tourney nerves are perfectly normal. Just about everyone gets scared when they're in tourney.

Easy. Don't shoot too high because you'll get frustrated. Cover local events and give them as much exposure as you can (match vids help). Small steps at a time. Sophisticat is right that it's an uphill battle... But there are people in the SRK community willing to work with us. So basically, we have to take that to our advantage. C0R got a new video editing program, so we'll try to pump out something cool this weekend. ;3

In the future we could put up stuff like tournament videos for majors on the front page (like winner/loser/grand finals). To be honest, I don't think people would really care about technical information about the game if they don't care about the game to begin with.

To be fair, the front page of SRK rarely has anything useful. They even made an article about players trending on Twitter. Still, I think the front page of DL is fine the way it is. It's there for news. Gameplay and character information have their respective boards. It'd be problematic if those were on the front page as they'd be a pain in the ass to find later. We are a niche within a niche, but we are bigger than most people give us credit for (I saw comments on SRK like Tekken got 200+ people so they're a real game, but no one plays BB even though we got the same number of entrants). BB community as a whole doesn't get much credit. However- EZ Modo fix. Highlight video of BB at EVO and ask SRK to put it on the first page. The only exposure we got was Tokido 2Ding his way to victory. You could also include GG highlights as I heard there were a lot of funny moments of RF bodying everyone. :V Or even include Latif highlights since he's popular on SRK. Don't over think it. Just try for simple things that can get us cred/rep. Actually, since we have the team tournament, we can look through there for highlight stuff. However, idk who to contact for the videos of singles or if we should just try to rip them straight from the stream (would we even have permission to do that?). 'K. Problem solved. I'll poke C0R and work on a highlight video and see what I can do to get published. I guess I'll poke Rin to ask who we get permission to use the singles footage (we could just rip it, but we're not the ones who recorded it). If anyone has suggestion to what moments should be included- PM me or post a message on my wall. I'll write an article to hype BB too since SRK's article on BB are pretty bleh.

Depends. I certainly don't mind working with C0R to make the Rachel and Mu tutorial vids since we both have all the information and equipment already. But I'm kinda waiting on getting the okay from Spirit Juice first.

While I certainly would like Blazblue to get more exposure, most of the stuff you're asking for is already on Dustloop. For example- tutorials, we already have a project in the works (though idk when that'll be done) and actually I think most characters are already done aside from video recording. We already have extensive system info and most character boards have a lot of information on how to play their respective character/match ups as well. So it's not that we don't already have what you're asking for or that the community is lazy. From my understanding... the real question is how to set this up so people on SRK would be interested in it too. Though, if I had to throw something out that would catch people's attention immediately- the easiest thing to do at the moment would be to post the match vids of the EVO finals on SRK or even make a highlight re-cap (though I think EVO releases their own DVD of the finals so I'm not even sure if this is possible). Once people are interested in the game and aren't like- "animu fighter zzz", THEN they'll be more interested in playing it. At least... that's my take on things.

Start off with learning her BnBs. Rachel's combos are probably the easiest things about her. To be honest, if you've never dealt with zoning before you might want to mess with Lambda a bit so you understand the concept of zoning and spacing. Rachel's zoning and neutral game is much more complicated than most of the cast, so it might be rather difficult to get the hang of it at first. You have a lot more free form, but also a lot more room to mess up. It's important to learn spacing with 2A/5B/6B/6A as those are the moves you'll be sticking out the most. Rod placement and using cannon shots will take a lot of time to get used to. Also, pumpkin usage and wind management are also things that take a long time to master. You can either mess around in casuals to see if you can learn on the fly or mess with her tools in training/arcade mode so you get some idea of how they're supposed to be used.

Lol. They originally signed up as that, but came up afterwards and said they wanted to change their team name. Some teams didn't have names, so I kind of made them up on the spot to make things easier. For example- Heartnana's team went like this: Me: Do you have a team name? Heartnana: Not right now. Me: Ok. *types in Not Right Now*
