Hi C0R~ Tip 1 to playing Rachel- We must make you drink tea. Your loli powers will go over 9000.

The problem with that post is it wouldn't apply much to Rachel. Unlike most characters, her high/low game literally is a guess. I can work on something this weekend if you guys like. I was planning on it anyways. EDIT: Here's what I'll do. I'll go ahead and make a thread and you guys can post whatever info/tips/etc on Rachel mix up. I'll do a write up this weekend and we'll see how stuff goes. :3

Hello Mu forum. :3

5C 3CD and then whatever you do off of 3C. 5C 3CD BBL hurts pretty bad. That only works on ground hit though. On air hit... yeah... it's pretty useless afraik.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cJNR6yuRxm0#t=59s Super ultra FUUU cat chair combo that does 7.2k damage in the corner. With some optimization, this can probably hit 8k since it builds 50 meter so you can do a third BBL + shenanigans. I'll work on it when my stick gets fixed. This would be baller to do on someone who does a bad DP in the corner.
-
Unfortunately, you just have to block. You can roll immediately and that'll get you away from orb, but Makoto can also just punch you in the face for rolling. You can also try neutral tech 5D. Makoto will try to get you by meatying or grabbing if she sees it and is standing, but if she's crouching at all you're out.

It was easier in CS1, but they changed something about the characters to make it harder to do in CS2. Interestedly enough, doing it on Arakune is kind of weird since his sprite is still on the ground when you're dashing under (his hitbox is not though).
-
You can do it during 5CC corner oki. It just requires knocking them down and them neutral teching. I wouldn't recommend it though since it'd put you in the corner. It's a more of a trick that's useful mid screen.
-
You do knock down and then dash under them as they neutral tech and 2A. It works as a cross under than anyone with a real dash can do. Rachel's situation is a bit unique as she can set up George and then do this. But... uh... yeah. That's pretty much the trick in a nutshell.
-
Well, when you are against Spark who times all his counters extremely well (even yukikaze), then yeah. It's tough, but doable. But this guy was talking about people who mash it. Spark wouldn't do something dumb like mash yukikaze while blocking George. Anyway, Hakumen's job is to make it really tough for Rachel to summon at neutral, so if you're going to try and setup again you should get some distance first so you don't get smacked by 3C/4C. General notes- the safest time outside of knockdown to summon is when you get Hakumen to block a B or C cannon. But, if he IBs it in the air, at some distances he can have enough time to air dash and hit you with j.2C out of summon. If you change the timing of your cannon shots though and harass with pumpkin, you can make it tough for him to IB. In this match up it's kinda like being Arakune where you have to remain unpredictable in order to get summons (luckily, summon is easier/safer than setting up cloud) and also to not be punished for using your summons. If you use all of your tools well though, this match up is a pain in the butt for Hakumen. If you use your tools poorly, then Hakumen will punish you every time and make you feel stupid.

Ah. Right. It only flashes on activation. Giant red target thing... close enough. It's easy enough to see. If you do see the super flash, then it's hopefully because of George and not you which means it's time to haul ass. :3
-
I'm assuming you mean blockstun and not hitstun. Anyway, as kotoko said- throw. Also, if it activates off George just jump and get away (if it activates off of you, then you're kinda screwed). Make him scared to use it by doing tick throw setups. Also, if you keep your mix up scary enough (make him scared of j.A/2B), he'll be too busy trying to block instead of mashing (I imagine it's hard to mash when trying to guess a 13f overhead). If he's just mashing it in general, try to stick to gapless block strings and bait it (if he whiffs it, he's super sad). A more likely situation though is that he'll try to barrier you out to stay out of instant j.A range and try to Yukikaze George/Pumpkin. So just make sure to watch for that and super jump out. He may get out of the corner for a chunk of meter, but you'll at least get a free pumpkin summon for your trouble. An easy way to bait it is if you think he's mashing while blocking George. During the end of George use 2A, wait until super flash, and then run in and throw. This will also catch him if he's mashing counter.

Welcome to Loli Netplay Central! This is where we gather netplay contact information for Rachel mainers. Netplay related discussion and general discussion all belongs in the Sanctuary. Please do not spam the thread. How to post your info: Short intro: Hi. My name is blah blah blah. I'm on at these times. I like long walks on the beach. Dustloop Username: blastMcMuffinGuido-san XBL/PSN Username: kawaii_desu_ne_3 (XBL) How to use this thread: Post your info using the format above. Your entry in the lists will have a link to your post. So feel free to make your entries stylish (as long as they're simple and not huge... I don't want a dissertation on your life). EDIT: I strongly encourage that you do use the above format as that makes updating this thread much easier. Also, please make entries legible.

Do we need a netplay thread? Y/N. Herp. It lives. Jason D.- Grats on how you did at Revelations. :3 I didn't get to watch much/any of the stream because I super slept in.

Yeah. I tested it out with Spark and got the same conclusion. Rachel's wind + backdash option limits Tager's options by a lot. He either has to take a risk and 5C or Sparkbolt (the risk is you can just hit 5A and smack him out of both and go into a full combo... with Sparkbolt it's even more risky because he'll lose the charge) or he can just let you get away. So, rather than a 3 way mix up like it is with most characters, it's more like a 2 option guess. But, it's a guess where the odds are in your favor. Which... conceptually is kinda messed up since Tager is the one trying to mix you up. To beat charged 6A setups- 3C to hit him out of it and combo. Or, you can just grab him out of it or wait until you see the attack come down to hit him. 3C is your safest option though.
-
You should only A cannon if they neutral tech. If you see them roll, that's a free chance to put them back in the corner. If you want to, you can even 5CC again since that will catch the roll and punt them back in. Otherwise you can use 5B. I'll check out the other stuff. But I think in those cases you guys might be doing backdash late. I'll let you know.
-
I'll post one tomorrow (maybe). And uh... I'll ask around, but I don't know any off of the top of my head. TD- I figured that would already be thrown into the combo thread... unless you want like a primer or guide specifically explaining Rachel mix up...

Corner carry + knock down. Plus, he should regain 2ish bars back from that. There's better combos though for corner carry that will use less wind. If he modifies the ender, he can end with frog instead of pumpkin.
