If you can't agree that American players are, in comparison, more disrespectful than Japanese players, then I suppose we can agree to disagree. How do you feel about this, Guardian? <3
-
In comparison to what I've seen at American casuals (including BB)
-
You can get the full 15 on CH also.
-
@Skane: You are the other Bang player because you don't show up to casuals. @2link: Danny is not going to play the game. Theo doesn't want to play P4U because he is bad at fighting games. He's only good at Blazblue and he is only good with Bang. He tries to play other characters and he is absolute trash with them. Not talking hard characters, he's been trying to play Ragna for months and he still sucks with him. I mean REALLY sucks. Aaand after a few hours of casuals today turns out my Chie is getting godlike. I think I'll keep her around with Mitsuru and just troll with Teddie.
-
What does BE stand for? Also Jourdal, you should use 1 to charge instead of 2.
-
That other Bang player will be that other Teddie player! None of you fucking scrubs show up to casuals anyway. Prove me wrong.
-
DWB isn't south Florida and DJ Jack isn't going to play this game lol. Even if he did, glass cannon Aigis definitely isn't a good character to play in your first air dasher ever. Also I still know how to play Chie, I've been learning a bit of Yukiko, and I pretty much know how to play Yosuke because I've been teaching/learning with Green Ace lol.
-
Yeah I mean, how else were you doing droit after 5C without holding it? lol 5a and j.a are godlike yes. <3 her feint. OOC how are we gonna specify charging 4/5/6b in combo notation? Or should we just write "slight charge" etc?
-
Uh huh, haven't heard that one before. You're right though, you do ignore when I tell you to stop waking up and pressing buttons after teching in the corner. Anyway like I was saying, game is bad but I'm pretty impressed at the level SFL is playing after only a few days of practice. So far it's looking like... DC: Mitsuru, Teddie Mystic: Yu Juggernaut: lol Mystical Moose: Labrys 2link: Elolzabeth Green Ace: Yosuke And the realest nigga of them all... PANDAKINGEX: Shadow Labrys So, if you're south Florida an decided not to show up to casuals on Sat, the idea is to play a character that hasn't been chosen yet so we can have more experience. It's not an outright ban, but since you're lazy as fuck and decided not to show up, if you choose a character that has already been chosen, you will forever be regarded as THAT OTHER _____ PLAYER. Weekly streamed casuals should begin next Sat. I think.

Seriously. But why are we debating over an opinionated tier list from someone who doesn't own the game...? I don't know, just sayin.
-
Sounds good Sticko. I'll still check tonight just to make sure.

After watching the video it's possible that Chie can counter command throws. I'm fairly certain it loses to regular throws as dumb as that sounds. I'm a bit busy now but I will confirm this later if nobody does before I do.
-
No, Chie's can definitely be thrown. Yukiko's I'm unsure, I'll test tonight. EDIT: It's possible I'm getting thrown out of the cool down. I'll also test this tonight but I'm sure I was counter thrown out of mine a few times yesterday.

Was playing casuals for about 6-7 hours yesterday. Got DP'd over 100 times. Don't get me wrong, baited a bunch, but the amount of times DP was pressed was hilariously high. My favorite moment was getting DP'd after only a single jab. Clearly my pressure was too much to handle.
-
It's not a DP, it's Dia, but it has a hit box. Chie's r-action can be thrown also. EDIT: Though I'm not entirely sure Yukiko's can be thrown. Just taking his word for it.

Please, desperately try to defend autocombo some more. Personally though I think this is the best thing to happen to video games since Nintendo added that super guide feature to their games where the computer would play the game for you while you watch. lol
-
Haha it is not a "small combo." Mash the A button and you get a combo that leads into super. Starts from a jab, no hit confirm is necessary, leads to about 3k midscreen, other combos exist but not necessary more viable. No real cons. Rise, autocomboers. The FGC is ours.
-
Haha are you being serious? Don't know about autocombo?
-
I think it's more than safe to say this game will be extremely mashy in America. If you think people will play with the same level of respect as Japanese players do, you're fooling yourself lol. The power of jab autocombo and r-action is strong.
-
And yes, troll level was set to maximum yesterday. I enjoy how the rest of the Blazblue players are trying to force themselves to like this game lol. Complaining about Kanji's easy inputs but using autocombo as their bread and butter. Claim the game is so great but instead of using the character they want to play, they opt to try to random people out with Kanji grabs. As far as I can tell they all know the game lacks depth, but I guess the desperation to play a new game is strong. My theory is the worse you are at fighting games in general, the more you will genuinely enjoy P4U, and I can provide 4-5 south Floridan examples right now if necessary lol.
-
I was originally going to play Chie, but against mashy American players her oki game is pretty useless. Though I did start winning once I opted to do actual damage combos instead of midscreen resets lol. All in all I think she's an extremely basic character and has the same problems as Noel does. I will probably just play her for fun. Aigis is nice but the amount of random in this game (in America) is very high and I was never a big fan of glass cannons. I won't be playing her. I considered playing Yukiko but I don't want to be stuck with a gimmicky zoner in the end. I've pretty much settled on playing Mitsuru and Teddie. I enjoy them both, though honestly I think the game is pretty terrible. I will use Teddie to remind people just how bad this game is lol, plus he absolutely shits on Kanji.
-
I want everyone to autocombo. It is the greatest invention known to man. I will play Teddie against any and all Kanji players. Real talk though, the game is fun but I think it's pretty terrible. It's extremely shallow and definitely catered to people who don't actually play fighting games. I suppose I'll troll in this game for a bit.

I think her general gameplan is pretty straightforward. Midscreen combo into sweep, Tomoe-copter oki and attempt to reset. In the corner it's generally the same thing with a different sweep bnb. If you feel like using the meter you can end in God Hand. B-rampage to 5a: I'm not sure if it's a timing thing or a distance thing. It seems like it just works sometimes and doesn't work other times depending on when and where the last kicks of rampage hits. I could be wrong, I'm gonna continue testing it. It's possible it could be my own execution, I've only been in the lab since yesterday, but it definitely feels like it has a lot to do with when/where rampage hits, especially because every opponent's hitbox is different, and a few kicks of rampage will miss no matter what. I'll keep testing. Aside from that I'm a bit disappointed that generally all of her bnbs are surrendered in favor of sweep oki. For the most part it seems like the strategy is to chip your opponent to death with 1-2k sweep combos and resets. The only time I see Chie players going for higher damage is if they catch a crouching counter hit or something. I feel like there's so much more to Chie that hasn't been explored.

It's 360. I'll be at ZP from the morning.
-
Her ex feels pretty simple, actually she seems like a really simplistic character in general. She does have some tough links, like rampage B on standing opponent to 5a, not sure if it's a timing thing or if it just doesn't always work depending on when and where you hit them with rampage.
