  1. Was playing casuals for about 6-7 hours yesterday. Got DP'd over 100 times. Don't get me wrong, baited a bunch, but the amount of times DP was pressed was hilariously high. My favorite moment was getting DP'd after only a single jab. Clearly my pressure was too much to handle.
  2. It's not a DP, it's Dia, but it has a hit box. Chie's r-action can be thrown also. EDIT: Though I'm not entirely sure Yukiko's can be thrown. Just taking his word for it.
  3. Please, desperately try to defend autocombo some more. Personally though I think this is the best thing to happen to video games since Nintendo added that super guide feature to their games where the computer would play the game for you while you watch. lol
  4. Haha it is not a "small combo." Mash the A button and you get a combo that leads into super. Starts from a jab, no hit confirm is necessary, leads to about 3k midscreen, other combos exist but not necessary more viable. No real cons. Rise, autocomboers. The FGC is ours.
  5. Haha are you being serious? Don't know about autocombo?
  6. I think it's more than safe to say this game will be extremely mashy in America. If you think people will play with the same level of respect as Japanese players do, you're fooling yourself lol. The power of jab autocombo and r-action is strong.
  7. And yes, troll level was set to maximum yesterday. I enjoy how the rest of the Blazblue players are trying to force themselves to like this game lol. Complaining about Kanji's easy inputs but using autocombo as their bread and butter. Claim the game is so great but instead of using the character they want to play, they opt to try to random people out with Kanji grabs. As far as I can tell they all know the game lacks depth, but I guess the desperation to play a new game is strong. My theory is the worse you are at fighting games in general, the more you will genuinely enjoy P4U, and I can provide 4-5 south Floridan examples right now if necessary lol.
  8. I was originally going to play Chie, but against mashy American players her oki game is pretty useless. Though I did start winning once I opted to do actual damage combos instead of midscreen resets lol. All in all I think she's an extremely basic character and has the same problems as Noel does. I will probably just play her for fun. Aigis is nice but the amount of random in this game (in America) is very high and I was never a big fan of glass cannons. I won't be playing her. I considered playing Yukiko but I don't want to be stuck with a gimmicky zoner in the end. I've pretty much settled on playing Mitsuru and Teddie. I enjoy them both, though honestly I think the game is pretty terrible. I will use Teddie to remind people just how bad this game is lol, plus he absolutely shits on Kanji.
  9. I want everyone to autocombo. It is the greatest invention known to man. I will play Teddie against any and all Kanji players. Real talk though, the game is fun but I think it's pretty terrible. It's extremely shallow and definitely catered to people who don't actually play fighting games. I suppose I'll troll in this game for a bit.
  10. I think her general gameplan is pretty straightforward. Midscreen combo into sweep, Tomoe-copter oki and attempt to reset. In the corner it's generally the same thing with a different sweep bnb. If you feel like using the meter you can end in God Hand. B-rampage to 5a: I'm not sure if it's a timing thing or a distance thing. It seems like it just works sometimes and doesn't work other times depending on when and where the last kicks of rampage hits. I could be wrong, I'm gonna continue testing it. It's possible it could be my own execution, I've only been in the lab since yesterday, but it definitely feels like it has a lot to do with when/where rampage hits, especially because every opponent's hitbox is different, and a few kicks of rampage will miss no matter what. I'll keep testing. Aside from that I'm a bit disappointed that generally all of her bnbs are surrendered in favor of sweep oki. For the most part it seems like the strategy is to chip your opponent to death with 1-2k sweep combos and resets. The only time I see Chie players going for higher damage is if they catch a crouching counter hit or something. I feel like there's so much more to Chie that hasn't been explored.
  11. It's 360. I'll be at ZP from the morning.
  12. Her ex feels pretty simple, actually she seems like a really simplistic character in general. She does have some tough links, like rampage B on standing opponent to 5a, not sure if it's a timing thing or if it just doesn't always work depending on when and where you hit them with rampage.
  13. Today is lab day. Come on Sat, be ready.
  14. I thought quick getup was a bit dumb in BB, but imo delaying your tech was definitely a legit strategy. In fact, in some instances you definitely had to, or get command thrown by Bang in the air. Delaying my neutral tech is a good way to throw someone autopiloting off. Sorry, I'm not gonna let you get free dead spike every time you knock down. But again, quick wakeup was dumb. Glad that's done with lol.
  15. I don't know, sure worked for me at CEO lol
  16. Can't go online with mine, sorry. :\
  17. Got the game early, post up anything you guys want me to check out.
  18. Alright guys it's happening, P4U @ ZP this Saturday 7/28. Study up on your combos because this is a PRACTICE session, we only have one console and no time to watch you do training mode. 3 tournaments in August (4 if you're going to Summer Jam) and Team South Florida intends to dominate just like we did BB. Read the system guide, practice your combos on stick, bring your A game.
  19. Don't worry, I'm playing Aigis too.
  20. lol good one Do you know who the fuck I am? See sig.
  21. Nobody cares about Jacksonville.
  22. So Green Ace and I have been doing some dirty dealings and we will very likely have a copy of P4U today. After some practice we might just have a Personafest at ZP this weekend, so keep your calendars open. Like you had anything better to do anyway.
  23. Panhandle you fool. Also GG sucks. Yeah I said it.
  24. 4D definitely gets stuffed by 6A. I said if she's close, preferably if sprites are touching. Otherwise use 5C. 6C also stuffs every drive starter and 2D beats everything but a very well timed 2D. The only thing that 4D eats for free is 6B and poor jump ins. You should really come to SJ Mashy!
