But I just wanted to go out with Akihiko, hahaha. Guess I should have dated him in training mode instead and maybe my PS3 wouldn't have exploded in jealousy Also, thanks a lot for the tips, Phfor. I'll keep working on my mixup (and confirming counterhits, and not getting my counterhit combos confused with each other when I do manage to confirm, etc etc).

Welp. I'm pumped for some P4A :D (after getting kinda bored with Blazblue and taking a long break from fighting games, I'm basically back where I started skill-wise, but WHO CARES) Is anything going on this coming weekend by any chance? I might be able to swing by if anything is going on Tuesday, but I'll have to work till 4:30. (I am also in Dallas proper now, near UTD, until the end of the month so I can make it to meetups and things easily :D)

It's the 12 Principles of Animation as applied to the sprites in Darkstalkers. http://art-eater.com/2010/07/test-1-darkstalkers/ I wish he'd do an article like this on 3rd Strike... the sprites in that game are even more intricately animated :O

'Cause people are idiots and like to complain about things in general :< It's especially cute when everyone is all "OMG MY CHARACTER X SUCKS NOW BETTER ABANDON THEM ASAP" after just a few initial details, as though there's nothing left to be discovered. The game has been out for all of what, a couple weeks? It's like how everyone thought Mu was shit at first until people had time to mess around. Give it at least a few months, people, before you make such drastic judgements
