I may be able to make the meetup this weekend; depends on how much progress I can make on my final papers over the week. I'd also be interested inthe Austin trip if you guys end up going anytime after winter break. (I'll be back at home in Abilene during break, which is 3 hours from Dallas and would make carpooling a bit difficult for me :P)

I'll know by tomorrow for sure if I can make it or not. (looks likely right now though) Also, you guys missed absolutely nothing at Yulecon; be glad you didn't go, haha. The BBCS tournament got cancelled and nobody there (from DFW, at least) was any good. Bleh :/

Here is their tournament schedule. The BBCS tourney is at 4pm on Friday. (too early IMO, I won't be able to make it :/) And yeah Ronin, it's $20 for a weekend pass for the gaming area in addition to the tourney fee.

Looks like I will be hanging out in the music game room at Yulecon this weekend, but from what I hear they are also going to have a BBCS setup (along with other fighters like SSF4) and a tournament in their console game room! I know it's a bit short notice and there are already meetups this weekend and everything, but anyone interested in going? :3

Busy with a ton of crap once again this weekend, sigh. Next weekend is out too since I'm going on a trip to Houston. Weekend after that should hopefully be good though.

Sounds like I missed an awesome meetup! Wish I could have made it I ended up going to Austin and got to play against good ol' souseta, though (and actually fared much better than usual!), so it's all good If something like this happens in the coming weeks though, definitely count me in; I will make time for it~

I just now realized that I never got to fight your Bang, mightfo :P I'll bring my copy of the game and/or some controllers to future meetups just in case we run into any not-having-stuff issues, lol. Lawl, my stick Jin isn't all that much better :P I can pull off 3C when I want to instead of 6C though lolllll.

Might have a bit of a problem with that, as it's the wireless Hori that came with the Tekken bundle :< So I don't think it'd work unless the converter can support a wireless USB dongle lol. Feel-wise though, it's not too bad. It's a 4-way gate as compared to the Sanwa, which I left as the default 8-way. It's pretty tight and easy to feel which direction you're hitting. Served me pretty well as a practice stick. (the buttons kinda suck though, they feel too... hollow, I guess? Not clicky enough D:) I now prefer the looseness of the Sanwa stick though.

Cool. And no joke, I didn't realize how hindered I really was until I got accustomed to playing on stick. It may be frustrating at first but soooo much better than pad once you get used to it. I'll bring both my sticks if you wanna try 'em out :3 (one is modded with sanwas, other has stock Hori parts)

Zreb, if you could bring your PS3 that would be awesome. Do you play pad or stick? And also RaveSage, I'll be at Afest for pretty much the whole weekend (other than when I go to Mightfo's for a bit) :3 If there's a BBCS setup (likely will be) we should play each other!

I could try to make it :3 And thanks for the Tsubaki tips, mightfo. I haven't used her online much so far, but I'm sure that'll come in handy once I get more confident with her.
