  1. Hm, I don't think I quite understand, can you put an example? Do you mean, like 2A>2B>5A>214A is one common string, or...? Sorry I'm so dull.

I would be pointing out that if you add tsubaki into a normal combo in CS2 Hakumen, you'd probably be using 5-7 stars for 6k damage, but meter gain is completely different now, so it's probably not a bad idea. It's almost better than CS1 Hakumen since it wallbinds, but eh, I still feel reserved about putting so many stars into one combo sometimes.
  3. 4k off 3C counter with 1 star is amazing. Also, for all the corner combos couldn't you extend it with another round of j.2C>2C?

  5. Yeah, some of the timing does look weird, but if it's flashy and "cool" I'm sure some people will try to learn him anyways, just bacause. Oh, wow, Sophisticat, you use the analog too? Yeah, dashing on analog is kind of messy, but meh, gotta get used to some things. Oh, since I get the chance to ask, what's your input for 2C -> sj.2A? I've tried several but none of them works that well.

  8. seriously. no heat for 10 seconds is horrible. Though I guess from the beginning Mugen has always been a showboat move anyways.

  13. the extend enma combo looks really crazy in my head. and as much as I use D in CS1, I don't really think they nerfed it in CS2. You get less damage, but it's a free knockdown and corner most of the time (you can combo off standing D and 2D without meter easily), j.D just resets, and since air game is nerfed, you shouldn't abuse that anymore anyways.
  14. for the hotaru combo, I thought he purposely avoided j.2C> 2C because the other one was better overall? j.2C>5A>j.5A>etc. and the second combo, that's corner only, right? counter hit j.2C>2C>j.2A>66.j.2A(corner)>fj.2C>2C>j.2A>66.j.A>j.C didn't think that would work.

  17. it's pretty unsafe to poke them when you wake up, try to instant block once or twice before you try; that's the most basic advice. If you can, pay attention to the mix-ups, too.
  18. Maybe everyone went to peropero? Kind of weird tastes, though (not that I can disagree with), going from samurai robots to MPD magical girls. Anyone know what happened to Zero or Suzume?

  21. I just poke 4C tagers, lol. I see the use for 6C, but 6C FC is just seems ridiculous in practicality; if it's the other guy mashing out, then i'm just trying to bait a risk, and I don't like playing that way, that's all. If it's for primers, I don't really see any point since Hakumen has so few other good primer breakers (that are worth it; using heat to break primers is stupid, and it's not like they're good for pressure unless in corner...rather, that's probably the wrong strategy there anyways; you want to use use for damage, not primers). Stylistic difference, i guess.

Sorry for troubling you about the combo, but I guess I kind of figured it out after asking my friend, but yeah, he told me there's really a lot of options, so if I couldn't tell you more, you would have never gotten it, sorry again. Lol, everyone is switching to Platinum here, too, team Berkeley hype. Sad to here you might not play ragna, though. I haven't actually seen any CS2 ragna, but I wasn't looking intently anyways.

  24. @blade: wah, how'd you get 6C FC in a match? I mean, who jumps in expecting to priority with 6C? I'm just curious. Also, 2D and 6D 2 megatama combo is easy: just do 2D> 4(reverse direction walk)> 5C> 623AA> j.2C> 2C> j.2A>66> j.2A> j.C and 6D> 9> j.2C> 5C> etc., no? You can probably go no stars for the the D one by skipping 5C and the punch straight into 2C. usually I don't do 1 magatama combos from D's, better off saving since after D you usually have both time and attack opportunity to store up for 2 or more. But if you really want, you can go 6D > gurren > 3C> 3C or kishuu > 3C > 2B> 5A > jump cancel combo, character specific, I think. For 2D, one combo could be 2D> 66/kishuu> 5A> jump combo. j.D is ridiculously good, so I'm kind of sad you can't combo off it in CSII. j.D> 2C> j.2A> 66> j.2A> j.C or j.D> enma combo for ridiculous gain, damage and corner. It's also so easy to use compared to the ground D's that I don't quite get why there's so little use. Anyhow, not like it's staying anymore. to be honest, I don't think you should be getting D's that early into the match anyways, and late in the match it's pretty hard to run out of magatama unless you're really crazy with the gimmicks. I pretty much never use zantetsu or tsubaki unless I'm going for lol no one expects zantetsu gimmicks; ren-zan mixup is too costly in my opinion so I don't use it and tsubaki is too telegraphed, even on hop to be useful. That's how I feel anyways.
  25. is kishuu enma not practical now? why the need to cancel into C instead of enma from kishuu, or is it just because we [can] do it now?
