Guys who ride motorcycles: Because it's not possible for me to get re-licensed for car between now and summer, I've applied for motorcycle training. They require that you have a leather jacket, helmet, riding gloves, and boots. Jacket I have, the other three are a no. What kind of gear is suitable for an absolute beginner, and what is the price range I should expect? I imagine that there have to be boots that you can walk around during the day in as well as use for riding (motorcycle riding troops in WW2 couldn't just ask for a moment to change their shoes), but I don't know what they're called/how much they cost/what they should be like. Advise me.

So there are rumblings that Faust is at or near the top of the heap in +R, wtf Did they nerf everybody else that hard? Faust got a lot of little buffs, stuff like the 2nd hit of 2K being low again, 5K not sending the opponent flying on CH, etc. but it's not like he got forward EXE beast or BBU or puffball or FB Drill or....

Opened up old copy of #R on PC Tried to do gunflame FRC Can only do it like 25% of the time Gimmicky riot stomp FRC I can get >75% of the time, but I think even in #R it has a way bigger FRC window (4F in AC vs. 2F for GF in AC). Due to the way the input is, I can't tell if I tend to be too early or too late on it. Is there some trick to figuring out the timing without recording what I'm doing on FRAPS?

I'm pretty sure the best way to win the Roshan fight super fast is to have both teams cooperate during the candy phase. Take candy from each other's stash and keep feeding it back into the system. Once everybody has levelled up a bit, have a few farmers go out and get more candy from the woods since attack speed + shuttling will be capped by the 25 candy, so it's more effective to introduce more candy into the candy supply. Even though everybody gets their money bumped to about 2^24 at the moment of Roshan fight, that's not enough to buy stuff like 5 rapiers or 5 bflys.

Undying's tombstone is gdlk in this mode Sniper is decent for speed running Roshan because he can continue attacking him when others have to spend a lot more time running around, but overall he's pretty weak in the candyland stage Weaver, Furion, AM, and even Clinkz are really good for pretty obvious reasons in candyland time SB is not bad Centaur is not bad Zeus is kickass if people are greedy for candy BH is pretty good Jakiro is good for the sheer quantity of teamfight that happens at all levels, and that a lot of it happens at the candy stashes Treant can be awesome Mirana should be good (leap, team invis, scouting arrows....)

I don't even want to play regular dota with diretide; there's no raging, games end in 25 minutes, and everybody gets to see their $$$ and XP shoot up like a rocket. Pretty sure Meepo is bugged, since his levels go up like a rocket, but he has to work harder than most to not die instantly to Roshan. Who cares if it's shallow. I don't even care that much about the hats. A bunch of heroes aren't very good in this mode, but whatevs

Hotline Miami is an ultraviolent game that is designed to make you slightly queasy when you play it. Since you also die instantly in one hit by anything, it's almost Vampire Rain 2D.
