Considering how powerful everything is in 6.73, I can't tell if people are going to play even more conservatively than before because the moment you get caught you are gonna get instagibbed, or if people will be even more aggressive now because even a 3v2 will probably end in somebody on the 2 side getting blown up right away. If conservative and turtling play rules, then chinese rice farming might come back... until somebody buys the abyssal blade, and then it'll be push mania. It'll still be a luxury item, but it sure beats sheepstick in usefulness for most carries. On the other hand, since people will probably get blown the hell up nigh-instantly now, it might be hard to turtle even if you really try.
Maybe leo will suddenly become a top pick because even if he gets blown up he'll be back right away lol
The halberd looks too awesome. I do like how it gives a nice alternative to armlet for strength heroes early on, even though they'll probably wind up building both if they have enough time/money.
The vanguard nerf is interesting. Considering how jacked up offense is already, nerfing one of the top defensive items just seems to hammer home the "blow ppl the hell up" theme of this version. Couriers are almost comically rewarding now when killed (total of 750 gold awarded to the team that kills it lol)... I don't know how big of a deal removing the shield from the courier will be, unless naix was jumping into it and using it as an unstoppable dynamic entry. Because seriously, how often do upgraded couriers ever get put in danger? Or is courier ganking going to be the new meta?
