If you play Carl and you cant win his bad matchups seriously you should start looking for another char, or start counter picking....nah just look for another char. Thanks everyone who came out this weekend and sunday. It was an awesome weekend, bbq was tight, mad games outside and im hype about the fact ppl getting serious in GG again and looking to the future with interest in MB and Tekken. Vids will be up soon (that were good) but live feed CANNOT convey the level of hype and godlike commentary that was going on. Only thing i was dissapointed on was that there were NO new faces. noone who said they wanted to lvl up or learn/get better at GG who we haven't met came out. Your not gonna get better by yourselves. What is it gonna take guys? It was great seeing those i havent seen in a while and i hope we'll see you more often. lets step this shit up!!!!

the loops are the same in construction (throw+clap, dash+clap/ throw+clap xN) they dont cost any more than the other. Only thing that would is keeping Nirvana active during the clap+throw xN. on the universal one they deactivate Nirvana after the first throw+clap and reactivate her during the dash+clap. But seriously? IDK maybe its just preference...

watching the latest autonomous carl vids with Kyaku, Im left wondering why they continue to use universal clap on Nu and that really awkward clap loop on Litchi........have they not seen the light?

I hit C when i go to 3 and hold it there till i see the 2C actually hit. then complete the motion. If u have a square gate in ur stick its pretty easy. just it chill in that corner.

Rachel can tech diagonally down-back/forward to avoid the clap as well. that would of course put her back in between Carl and Nirvana so they might think twice about it, but its possible. Perhaps the way you are doing it makes it so they have no choice but to re-sandwich themselves? that would be best. Gonna test it out.

Actually Kyle/Zoogstin's method has been working wonders so far. If he doesnt have 50% ive been murdering Ragnas with this method. Just make sure when u do their "basketball" method that you dont delay the grab too long or else the clap wont come out if the break grab super early. and to add.... Its actually pretty easy. I tested these fully, so they will kill 100% when starting from 2A,2B,3C -> allecan summon combo. I mean they tech even after they've burst so they die even faster.

Actually, i use 2A-2B-3C-5-2D. It all depends on when u cross the opponent up/ how fast u iad. u actually have alot of time after the 3C to do the iad allecan.

hey Kyle just wondering, but why did you omit the airdash grab in the first rep on Carl/tao/jin/noel/ara and go straight into the 6A? I usually only omit that on Carl/Noel cause of their hitbox and weight but not on the others since it is like free dmg. uniformity?

im gonna see if i can record some tonite, tho id rather see Kyle do it since he took the time to break it down for ppl. Although i use different variations than he does especially for Carl/Noel, Ara, and Jin/Tao. those 3 groups have different weights so i change it up on them. Also the combo on these dont kill w/o burst after the last grab+8D in the ones u posted Kyle, i usually have like 1 more 2C+8D after the first one and one grab+8D(whiff) after the RC rep in there so they die. That post is so epic tho mad props for taking the time to do this for ppl who trying to lvl up.

I have a feeling this thread isnt gonna end anytime soon with any accepted or even somewhat mutual agreement. The way tournaments are structured there will always be some kind of seeding to keep controversy and problems to a minimum. whether by region or past tourney performance. Perhaps if we had a globally accepted official ranking system we wouldnt be arguing in the first place as i can see how some could be thinking; "well besides obvious majors results, who decides who is a top player?" This situation could be viewed as "unfair". Both sides already argued their point for and against, however as is evident from tourney usually run with complete random brackets, problems almost always arise and things that obviously "shouldnt have happened" sometimes do. Its there for everyones benefit. Besides if two top players DO fight each other early on and 1 goes to losers....god help all the unfortunate ppl who have to fight that person in losers bracket as they run a train on the poor other "weaker" players. Those weaker players wouldve went 0-2 anyway. Some might see it as arrogant or being an elitist, but that is how things always happen. Those are the results. isnt it what gives others the motivation to beat someone better than them? Doesnt everyone remember the first time you were an unknown and beat someone who was a top player? (those that have). Its what keeps me going to tournaments. tourneys need some kind of seeding. even if this "bias" makes things more "fair" in the end.
