  3. Depends on how you want to play, they are useful, but you may want to consider the pay-off you can get w/ 50% tension. It also depends on distancing too because if you land Baku on CH and you're close, getting a combo afterwards will be easy and you save on tension. If your opponent has little life remaining then you may as well go into full Baku and net some free CHs to seal a win. Or even go for the free UB, it's really up to you.

  5. Yeah. There's a bit of difficulty in one type that I posted. I think it's worth it if you can get the IAD Tatami to come through all the time - probably better than the old combos from XX (tall characters), #r, and /.
  6. Anyone else like the fact that 2D hits Slayer from an impossible height in the air? A close range Kabari > Tetsuzansen > 2D will hit him no problem and he's no way near your location. Looks worse off with him than any other character I believe...
  7. After a bit of practice, it seems that: Youzansen > RC > IAD Tatami Works on everyone besides Jam. I have no idea why it misses her - maybe she actually does have a wierd hitbox. Whatever. In any case, follow ups aren't too bad, if you're slick, you can get: ...IAD Tatami > Land > IAD J.S-P-S-D If not, then a simple J.S-P-D or J.S-D will do. All combos of this line work from any point in the screen, so no need to change anything. It's really about the best you can do from Youzansen without blowing an extra 25% tension to get better damage + knockdown. I'll put a video up if people haven't seen the combo being used - it's quite tricky and requires you to know how high your Youzansen is - you can't do it from a Youzansen close to the ground

  10. If you don't see the FRC (which you should), then yeah, average stun edge. I find it kind of tricky to connect a j.H after a longer Ky string, so the best I can hope for is an actual approach.

  12. You can get J.P-D > J.D > AD > J.P-D if you're l33t. If you combo from a Tatami, it's hard to hit her with j.P-D. You're not always going to be close enough to get sweep > J.P-S-D or anything like that so getting a sweep knockdown is fine. FRC has to get used if you want to extend though. If she's too high then obviously it's harder to get a knockdown so most combos will have to consist of J.P-D or J.S-D, rather than J.P_K-S-D.
  13. It's not her toughest, but it's tough. It can turn out to be fun though. Jam is strange because she's harder to combo, she can be all over the place, random hits equal damage (sweep into charge attack ggpo) also massive damage. You have to be really careful.
  14. I think so too. I had to put on GG just to make sure I could do instant air dashes! I can do IADs to the left, but not to the right in this game for some magical reason. In GG I have no problems doing anything. Luckily though, the game has a buffer system so you can input 66 while doing a JCable move, so when you press 7_9, you'll do an IAD anyway. I think that's pretty cool.

  19. New MI-KA-DO matches are pretty good. Baiken vs. Slayer and Potemkin had some nice combos + tactics from both sides

  22. Funnily enough, the P tier is spot on =p
  23. After throw I just do the standard run in 2K > 5S©> JC > j.P-S-D ...add in AD > j.P_S-D if it's gettable. Tatami > combo I'll use on characters I find it easier to land on. As for the guard balance shit earlier, 5H > RC > 2D > Tatami > D-Loop does more damage than 6H > 2D > Tatami > D-Loop...and you know that 6H does more damage than 5H.
