lol, it's true. As much as I liked watching some of the matches, it was the same player rinsing out the weaker players...and that Ky was handing out MERCY ROUNDS (though I did see Ky's potential...that character must be the only character in GG that just gets better and better consistently in terms of shit). I'm thinking the Japanese want to warm up to the game first, rather than immediately release tournament vids that they can talk smack on 3 months later (u suck lulz). Now back to Johnny hatin' - people complained that he lost his MF combos...but wait, all they did was change which MF he could combo from. What's the deal? Don't look as cool? Well, I think the new combo looks cool personally because he looks as though he's throwing money down to his bitches. Next we have the new Killer Joker...some characters would kill for a move that reset their jump properties! Make use of that shit!

I'm one of those people who doesn't mind if they get an update OR get a new game - both are new things so I'm grateful for getting something rather than nothing. AC is looking pretty good at the moment...but it's only been less than a fortnight. I want to see this Potemkin SHIT(yeah I said it, Slide Head Infinite Trap) though. Apparently it's just continuous hits of slide head - yeah, it has to actually hit, not none of this other side of the screen crap. :o Johnny players are lucky. At least they are actually given stuff - other characters aren't so lucky.

I think #r was the Guilty Gear that people took notice of. I only started playing in XX and I only played X a few times. From the release of #r a lot more players came into the mix. That was out for a while, now you have Slash which takes away more than it gives, making it maybe the ST of the series (tch, I hate comparing shit). Now they've brought the fun back to the table while attempting to balance it all out. Shit looks cool for pretty much everybody. We'll just have to see how it all plays out - who knows, we may all have to go back to #r in a few years! ;P One thing I've noticed though, is that Johnny players are similar to Julia players in Tekken - they always complain about shit even though their character is good - and they always cling onto the old days! ;o

I don't get more than 60kb/s per file with the direct download method. Using the filebank shit, it goes to 1kb/s after like, 10 minutes.

The Sol in the filebank vids were really cool to watch - he was always trying some fancy Sol shit, then of course, you had the TK VVs.

Might be a glitch - probably escaped the throw while doing the chain at the same time.

That Testament player in the second batch of file bank vids was taking the piss with F.EXE -> 6K. =p

Dizzies don't disappear during a combo.

lol @ Potemkin. It seems as though not doing heat extend is the tactic. You're left close for the mix up, allowing another attempt at 6H -> Slide Head. Seems as though when you're locked in that close you're going to be faced with a 50/50 of Slide Head or Heat Knuckle. Slide Head -> Hammerfall Break -> 5K -> 2S -> Heat Knuckle Well, Potemkin has pretty much always been this type of character. It's a heftier price...he gets a decent chunk of tension from going through all this as well. I love the Yellow and Black colour for Jam. Might just use her just because of it. edit: lol @ Slide Head beaing Baiken's 412H.

I've only got the first 4 and one somewhere in the middle - the first Baiken doesn't do anything (really) but the match 4 Biken (Ky vs. Baiken) is substantially different from the one mainly seen in the last batch of filebank videos.

Bacon tried doing Tatami after a corner air throw today. It didn't hit [Ky], but it's only one frame slowe than 6H (which can connect) so I don't see why not. Worth a shot - most likely works on Testament ^_^

I'm pretty sure you can combo from the ground with 2K also, but no-one has really tried it, always trying for big damage stuff (6H and 2D). It didn't work on Sol because it whiffed (he has a small sliding hit box, Testaments one, as you saw, is huge).
