  1. A lot more patience displayed in those videos I will say that. If you are gonna block that much going to work on 360 reversals on her jump ins. Notice patterns more I would go for a reset everytime until he stops teching in the air. Bait those bursts if he is going to be so obvious about the them.
  2. Considering you have to play head games to win with tager annnnnnddd your about slam someones head into the ground its pretty apropos.
  3. 60 to cover the cost of sweatshirt and screen print if enough wanted one here we could do them for 50 with a bulk order. Any color sweatshirt obviously and its one of a kind.
  4. To go along with the hype of CS2 tager my brother made this for me for christmas and we could possibly run some prints of it if people were interested in a buying a sweatshirt.
  5. A better litchi will more than likely change your approach on things but good set ups and i agree with skye hit confirms could have ended the fight sooner. Too many jabs thrown when you could have comboed after some hit confirms in the air and ground. Could have punished that litchi for dashing in and taking the same approach every time but you were always in the air afraid of having distance between each other. Great job in the ib 720 in the corner first round though litchi is a pain in the ass and that goes without saying.
  6. Always have a plan before you do a move, specifically pertaining to sledge as others have mentioned. There is no need to fill up the time with a move you couldnt have done anything with anyway simply because its taking a while to get close. Patience is your best friend against the majority of the cast when you play as tager. With that said still did a nice job blocking when you were patient, be sure to use that ability to the fullest and remain patient. Be sure to add some delay to avoid those purple throws, 2B tic throw being your best friend since it gives you frame advantage even on block and the ability to force people in a guessing game with throwing a dp,jumping,or staying grounded. By the way Axis good games we had earlier i have been playing a lot more lately for one reason or the other oh and im not black.
  7. Commanderoftroy-BBCS Its still up in air donno if i will work that saturday but hoping i wont because last year was a good time.
  8. Hey GZ didnt know if you were headed to seasons beatings but if GG and BB casuals are going down on saturday i was looking for a place to stay or a room to split to come down. If not im ill just heading down there sunday and coming back after the BB tourney but id rather try and make a weekend of it. Get back with me if you can help me good sir.

  9. Are we gonna have some casuals of GG going around ive yet to be able to play it much against anyone there isnt much of a GG scene here in michigan. Also willing to split money for a room if anyone is deciding to stay down there if not my apartment is about 2 hours away if anyone needs a place to stay.
  10. We are looking to bring some casuals on the side for GG at the michigan masters tournament on the 18th up at gameyard. Hoping it may help start some things in the fighting game scene around here.
  11. Haha i believe i offered in the CT days to buy you a 360 to play on Mike, i may have even offered to get ya an online subscription.
  12. Yeah to those who stick to a pattern its slightly easier, i have blocked it usually have to be blocking before he comes up out of the ground from what i can tell. Although i may come out of it with about 2 primers left and i dont feel there is any use in using barrier the whole time unless you get low on primers.
  13. Yeah i can deal with the vague cross ups usually but that teleport behind you, its harder to react to you almost have to block the opposite direction preemptively which makes shit a lot worse.
  14. Yeah and then we forget to mention that even if you do block well enough when cursed your guard primers will disappear so fast itll make your brain hurt. Had an arakune break my guard in about 7 or 8 seconds and last time i checked i had 10 guard primers.
  15. Well just like every other character he has some more reset options in corner just have to stay patient and block here in this match. 2C is your best friend in this match and there are several things in the corner that you can IB and 720 him for using mainly his 6D. I find that there is no reason to rotate the stick like mad for a 360 or 720 when frozen in the air because with frozen being timed now you often get out of it before they start their next combo, you could do magnatech wheel out of it as well depending on what the situation calls for.
  16. Yeah that one right there, as well blocking low because her overheads or lack of them lead to virtually no damage now and are easy to react to.
  17. You better learn how to block real fast if playing tager and thats real life.
  18. the 31st in toledo its right across from the mudhens stadium.

  19. I don't disagree at all dacid i would never say its always the right option, simply saying its not out of the question. I can't speak intelligently about MU, judging from the videos she would have an easier time baiting a sledge than most but hopefully it doesn't lead to huge damage like Lambda and others.
  20. Wasn't at all saying you were wrong bud saying it being slow can be offset by reading your opponent, the recovery frames on Asledge are much worse than Bsledge. Yeah i would agree with ya reading your opponent makes anything safe. I was simply saying sledging through projectiles can be done safely and has its place. I can't speak on MU as i haven't played her,was speaking of zoning characters in general so that you may have me on that. Reading your opponent is the only way to play tager effectively and get any type of wins if you are playing anything moderate level and above. I say that with the basis that he has less tools to deal with things than a majority of characters in the game.
  21. Sledging through projectiles is completely viable should you read your opponent right. B sledge being slow is not an issue when its not in the middle of a combo, it has longer active frames to cover the screen all be it that it still has a maximum damage it can absorb. A sledge is much worse in most cases because of how bad the recovery frames are on it. Sledging mindlessly will get you set up for a combo real fast against nearly any character zoning or not.
  22. Update #5 The next Ranbat is this Sunday, July 25th, at Gameyard! We will hopefully have a casual setup for the new BB, but no tournament just yet (we gotta wait till everyone has had a chance to play the game.) I'm going to be out of town so Grego will be running this Ranbat. Due to the all the complicated bullshit I have to do to seed according to rankings, he might now want to do that, so the seeding will probably be a little looser than usual, but it's no big deal. MM3 is coming up (thread coming soon), so keep checking back!

  23. No digital ops is in ann arbor the guy who runs the ranbats goes back and forth between those. He left a post in the thread that it was going to be at gameyard on the 25th.

  24. That is at the gameyard i guess the guy had to move it there this week. The website is up on the first post in the michigan thread. Some guy is bringing the japanese version of CS there to play casuals. I am trying to get people together the following saturday on the 31st to my place to play.
