  1. Doing a gold burst combo with tager is just entertaining i dont care how you look at it. That 5b to GF is pretty interesting if you could be people mashing tech in that situation.
  2. I love playing pot just not enough people playing GG.
  3. If it ends at 32 then you would get hit, yeah you can break it down to half of frames within those 32 but that wouldn't matter at all. No moves come out in 5.5 frames or are active for 4.5 frames as examples.

  5. 2B was what i was referring to, mainly because i can create a pretty easy mind game with without doing oki. Simply mixing tic throws and colliders off of 2B will scare people because as VE said its one of the few moves that leaves tager at a frame advantage.
  6. Ahhh volt charge...really oki is more about reaction in this game than prediction although when considering your options its nice to try and bait something on a wake up first and see if the person has a pattern when teching.

  11. Lets be honest we know Tager is never going to get significantly better in any upcoming installment in this series. With that said maybe the people who play tager such as myself are hopeless and should take some blame for playing the character. Tager requires patience and any tager who is worth a damn can go on the defensive and scope out a players tendencies and search for holes, but on that note there will only be a few tagers who can win consistently at a high level of play and its been that way since CT.
  12. If they are magnetized then them bursting will still result in a reset if you see it early enough, 2b scares people to death and i get a lot of burst baits off of that.
  13. Haha volt charge is viable outside of ranked just have to make a better read like off of 2b or something, it rarely works off spark offline an any competitive scene.
  14. Volt charge makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside, nothing better than making people panic at the end of a fight.

  17. Haha osuna i was just making a joke at tager's expense. You can hit with his overhead when people throw it on autopilot because he lacks real block strings. 6B, 6C, to collider and ect does decent damage and its entertaining looking.
  18. As a tager player i would tell you i would rather deal with some type 3C oki versus anything ending in 236D. Easier to keep tager in the corner with that and due to an obvious lack of mobility 236D is a pain in the ass to avoid. Its also another easy tool to bait sledge with if the tager is a careless player.
  19. To get hit by any over head of tager's you have to be trained to block low for nearly an entire fight. As my dude dacid bro would say "Tager has an overhead? Now you know."
  20. Lets be honest i was commanderoftroy but now commanderofyomi. The man who commanded the army of troy was kind of a badass.

I think its still relatively easy to do on netplay but understandable, with that said though im probably the most patient tager around comparable to coopa's style of play so you and i have always played vastly different from each other. I personally think RC set/mix ups are just as viable if not more so than the gimmicks often needed to produce a good 720 set up.
  22. I probably use heat more often for RCs than 720s since training a good player to fall for a RC mix up is usually more practical than an unreliable 720 set up. If your instant blocking in most cases you'll get 100 heat during the course of the fight anyway.

  24. So i have yet to see anyone really use 6A as an anti-air which i thought would be one of its best attributes.
