Im not sure how all the schedules are going for the ranbats but if dave and seon are down for it at some point after CS comes out im down to have people over my apartment. Could do blaz as well as GG if people wanted im willing to pick up and learn GG since i have not had anyone to play it with.

I have heard great things about it, hard to see him as anything other than the dad from malcom in the middle. I have enjoyed justified the few times i have got to watch it on fx.

Honestly yeah the statements so far have indicated that the people in here are ignorant to what get social means and your brother was seemingly over looking the fact it doesnt just turn into rides or people wanting to learn the game. I have tried to teach several people they just dont have patience or the drive to get good at it. I have an account on the srk forums, i realize the world is bigger than dustloop as do the others on here. I see this fighting game community as a comradery sort of thing so half of it is helping people out when ya can in order to expand things. That said the social aspect is a given and really a rhetorical question if asked.

Yeah gonna see what i can do in CS as well, tager plays a little differently than he does in CT but i dont feel its a complete overhaul. Well i will say if you dont have a place to stay at down in columbus but dont want that far ass drive back to your place, you are free to stay at my apartment in toledo after the tournament.

Yeah i think we could get some people that head to the columbus and cinci events up to ann arbor or the masters tournament you spoke of whenever the date is announced for that. I believe i could probably make it to that in columbus for CS.

Nay i dont live in flint i was using that because onslaught does and is easily the farthest out of the way. I know dave from port huron said will be able to bring 3 or 4 people if he goes. Onslaught had mentioned there were a few people up there in flint that wanted to play so i hoping he can find a ride with them and manage to bring a few people. I live in toledo and was going to hit up the ohio thread to see if i could get anyone to head up to ann arbor to play since its about an hour from here. I know they do ranbats in cinci but im not sure if all live in that area or some are traveling further that might be able to make it up to digital ops and gameyard.

By the way thanks for the times papa and we are assuming that the regular schedule will just continue with CS added after the 27th then?

Well im just gonna put it out there i have met most the people talking on this thread and no one here is ignorant. With that in mind we all know the basic rules for getting a ride but that doesnt mean there are people in your area that give a fuck about the game whether you are willing to teach them or not. Obviously a lot of people here and probably in the SRK forums are spread out in michigan, which compounds the problem for getting rides if no one in your area plays and its way the fuck out of the way. Which means, i cant wave money around if i were to live in flint and expect someone to come pick up me up from detroit or port huron for that matter. Yes we will work on getting people rides i will pick up who i can how bout you seon grab skye and axis since you know,all three of you live about a half an hour away from each other or so. If i wasnt about making the scene bigger in michigan i wouldnt have drove four hours to pick up four people and help get us together. Point is there is no reason to be a dick even if ya didnt mean to, and then come off hypocritical saying oh there are people who will give you rides and care just not me cause hey i got a car and i will at least be there good luck with rides guys. We all understand the social aspect of this so i will hope we can work things out and get people to these ranbats and the tournaments.

That was kind of my point when talking about trying to get everyone there i feel half of this is about helping others out and i will do that if i can. I figure i can probably get skye and axis if im going to garden city im not sure i have not really looked at the route yet.

So we are looking at fridays at 6 in garden city for ranbats or casuals? You guys went up to ann arbor on sunday for ranbats is that a consistant thing for cs right now or are we waiting for it to come out to be there every week.

Who said anything about splitting the community? If they do want to add it great, give us the details and times and we will see if it works out for most of the people here. If it doesnt we may need to try and find times seperate from that so we can get more to attend. I wasn't suggesting changing gathering points or anything of the sort.

Well thats not guarenteed and why not run try and get it going ourselves instead of depending on that since we for the most part, are the entire michigan blazblue scene at this point.
