I was playing a bunch of rounds against a pretty good nu online. If your far away and can predit what shes going to do with the swords you can drive and hit B before it hits you to teleport through the swords and get in on her. This really wont work on the C moves with nu but I was using 4D~B/5D~B and even J.4D~B. as approaches. Its tough to get off but if your successful you can really make nu pay. On the other hand you will eat a nasty combo if you miss it so another high risk/possble high reward depending on how close you get in when you hit B. Nu matchup's are mostly jokes anyway. You really don't have a shot no matter who you are

thanks, I'll try and focus on these. I'm still trying to get the hang of taunt combos in general. Its tough to deal with lag online and can imagine some of these people damn near impossible given certain situations...

I prefer to barrier guard since it pushes you back. and then jump back to get out of there and play it safe. you should be able to jump out of just about any one of her next chain drives. I have another question. What are some good combos against noel. I can do basic drive loop combos off of 6C/B+C backwards/6A/3C etc... but I cant get high damage because of her hitboxes. I have the same problem with carl/litche and anyone with small hitboxes. I haven't really seen any good combo vids against noels. Any help would be great

I dont think you can Drive fast enough. Unless you know its coming I suppose...but your feeling ballsy by chancing it. I would just recommend doing Jumping C He's so big your bound to hit him...

I agree with this man right here. Crawling and 5D are your friends. I dont have many problems because once I hit them. I can stay on them like white on rice and she takes damage like a bitch... Although If your playing really good Nu's. This tactic wont work, BUT WHO PLAYS GOOD V-13'S ONLINE?!

I play tao and Noel is probably my worst matchup. I dont know shit about noel but I can tell you almost all of her drive crap DESTROYS me when I try a combo with 5b. so I would recommend you try a drive string if your worried about it. It might have something to do with counter hits or how i'm rushing in etc... Havent really studied it....

I'm pretty sure 5B after you block the first hit of HF will connect, then you can follow up with whatever combo you want.

I know that, I'm trying to play to get better overall against everyone as well. The logic I'm going by is just trying to trick the opponent through redundancy. You'd be surprised on how people wouldn't think you'd keep doing it if you wiffed. Sometimes when it gets really defensive I back away and throw out the 236C (only if im winning or think I can win if I get hit etc...) since it moves forward you can keep the loop going and the opponent sometimes get greedy and try and counter and losing. Or they are pressured to run away and can resulting in a massive combo on your part. I've done this to every Carl I play. Although I've only played against like 2 Carl's ever. surprisingly 236C while they are med-far distance works.... if they use the doll. The claws will hit it and stop its action. and if you keep jamming on C to continue the combo they get flustered and half the time and get hit for a easy drive loop. Again, I've played at most 2 carl's who were pretty rough. Not 100% certain the move will always take priorty. I would say try it if your winning the match or in the 2nd round...
