There is only one kinda component cable that I know of, and it'll be the only thing in our universe that has 5 RCA type plugs on it and the other end is a ps2 plug in. That's what you want if you want component. I'm not savy on the progessive mode stuff. I don't have LCD or Plaz, so I didn't bother to learn. According to lore, using pro scan mode plus component cables 'may' reduce or eliminate lag on fancy ass TV's that are pointless for me to buy so I don't really give a fuk.

Yeah, I need to make the official announcement, but SE-R 4 is going to get put on hold for many reasons I'll cover later. I'm going to put my effort toward KiT, and run BB and GG, and both will be console, and I'm going to try my hardest to make GG something decent, not just a 4 man game. Anyway, yep.

ABC jump is great generally, but if the B is instant blocked, the C gets backdashed to to tager driver, I use that when they are putting up barrier and it's usually safe then.

This is my favorite matchup, playing Jais and MikeZ's Tager a good bit, however, those strats will be heavily diminished with any lag whatsoever. Keep it simple and use tons of A's. Jump A, 5A in varied rhythm, it can stop damn near everything, and pressure the shit out of his barrier and libra. 5A 6A 6C xx whatever. If you finish air combo in revolver blast, you can run behind him and use all sorts of mixup tactics. You can easily play keep away with bee stings or be agressive with A's. hedgeshot: the rule of thumb I use when pressuring or comboing with Ky is I use the S version if I'm doing something still in quite close, like 5S,6K, S SE FRC, 5S, then whatever... but as you get pushed back further (either from enemy FD or that combo hitting) You'll use the HS SE then, and after the FRC you can play games from there, 6HS, run up throw, whatever, it's a great momentum position for Ky to be in with just about everyone I've ever played against. May work for you, may not. Good luck.

Don't get too excited yet, as they aren't done, but I've been getting PM's about them, so I figured I'd post up the situation. I haven't touched them... Shit has been kinda busy and they haven't been top priority. I know for sure we didn't get any of the Finals, as in shit played on the big screen. The DVD-R was hooked up incorrectly. I'm a fuckup. I think we got alot of random matches thru the rest of the tourney and loosers finals. I still have the lists of who got recorded when, but the DVD-R's were acting funny so I have a bad gut feeling that well... I may have not gotten a goddamn thing. I'll know something and have what we do have posted in less than one week, but we will start working on them this week. If I totally fucked up, I'm sorry guys. What sucks about all this is that I'm actually giving Marn a reason to shit talk me this time.

Cupui: I have a firm belief to take damage when I can get it. If we were better, then that is perfect spacing (in theory) for a Final Showdown type combo. 2D HS SE, FRC 6HS, etc.. Better damage, but I'd put money that I could do the above combo 99 out of 100... and the other one? Hell no. No doubt the SE FRC is the better version, but as I say, spend it all player, fuck the price.

Cupui: Personally, this is when I'm most 'tempted' to use the j.S , and since I'm usually a bit far, I simply go 2D xx Sacred Edge, then 6HS, IAD j.S,j.HS VT/LJ. It's easily hit confirmable. Some consider this a waste of tension. I like it.

What visible cues do you use for Ky's FRC's?

If I'm not mistaken, the startup of this VT and RTL can't be thrown. I'm almost positive on the VT thing, because I use it in Yomi games with the people I play alot, and an Oki throw beater. Could be wrong and their execution is shit.

If you aren't 'risking' getting into IK mode you are doing it too slow. Think of it as a 'gallop' in DDR if you know what that is... kinda like a 16th note... it's just damn fast and will take some practice. Don't give up.
