Even though I'm not from Europe, I feel your pain, Dynames. Being in a place where there's no arcades is like a barren wasteland.

And as I said before, how can I compete when I can't play the damn game? I don't mind the prospect of a game being offline only, what bothers me is when people talk about a game like it's the only thing people are playing when that's not true at all. I play CT because that's all I have to play, if you can't understand that you've got competition for brains and need to get a reality check. Outdated? Yes. Dead competitively? Depends on how you define competition. I define competition as any time Player 2 presses the start button. Online or offline, old or new doesn't matter to me. I didn't come to Dustloop for the latest competition fads...I came here to learn how to play the games I own and plan to own based on rumors and news that tend to come here. Oldest games I own aren't dead till the disc breaks/cartridge falls apart, and even if I die, someone's gonna pick up those games and play them someday. Game fads die, BUT THE SOUL STILL BURNS.

It does matter...because not everyone has the privilege to play the arcade version. It's the haves and the have nots. I'm sorry, but the people who don't understand are the people who have access to it and act like that's normal. You try living in the backwoods without any arcades near you for 15+ years....it'd drive most people insane. That's why people bootleg, that's why people play online...you do what you can. I don't live in California or New York or the big cities like you guys...I live in Wisconsin. If all you can say is "too bad I don't give a shit because I play CS" then you're a heartless bastard who doesn't give a shit about what people who only have CT to play online and have to wait till July.

That's not the point. The point is, people are dissing the CT scene without a reason. CT isn't dead like people say it is, not until everyone stops playing it altogether. And until I get my copy of CS for PS3...I'll be playing CT like a motherfuck. Competition may not be as hot as CS is in arcades, but it's still there, and people still ask for help playing characters in it, so it's not right to neglect it.

lol, I put him on my ignore list, he's been stalking me since gamefaqs. As for when we'd play, refresh my memory, I live in Wisconsin and don't get to play my PS3 much unless I go by friends (no room/quality connection otherwise), if you live near Milwaukee, it'd be easier.
