  1. Someone give me a pic of Jin's hitbox for Renhyou (623C). As far as I understand, that hitbox is nonexistent except the attack box.
  2. Yeah I know. Chiseling this out takes time. It's not fully formed yet. And who knows about the code. However, understand, this is for people who like to micromanage everything, especially the whole master>handler relationship. And the core fun is the customization I have in mind.
  3. Hunh...okay. Well, it's a tough idea to balance out customization with combat elements. If I were to describe it best, I'd say it'd be a mix between Soul Calibur's Create-a-Soul, a kind of fashion-oriented generator (with stuff you can import yourself like tatoos, makeup, jewelry, clothing, or dress designs or hair style and body types), elements from "Artificial Girl" series (though I hate their designs as it looks TOO artificial, lol), and something akin to a psycho-religious alignment system (that is to say, a person's sign and birthday or their personality affect their overall abilities including things like likes and dislikes based on genre of taste). A more elaborate way of saying it would be, the emphasis is on designing your ideal girlfriend, from clothing to personality type which ultimately affects her growth and abilities. For example, she could be introverted/extroverted, active/passive, optimist/pessimist, idealist/realist, and you could adjust things like how sensual or reserved she is, formal or perverted, open or secretive, domineering or submissive, and depending on your settings that affects her growth and talents in certain areas, while things like her sign, likes and dislikes affect how well your interaction with her will be on certain events. And how well she gets along with you will determine her strength and ability growth (somewhat like Nintendogs has you looking after a pet) in various areas, as well as things like hidden talents (such as singing or the like). Also making a girl who has a wide variety of personality range would create mood swings. Certain clothing would boost her personality attributes and parameters like equipment would, as well as her relationship with you. Lastly, there'd be four key events that further boost the relationship or are detrimental to it: --Dating Events: Could be stuff like watching a movie, giving her a gift, celebrating a holiday, or going someplace like a restaurant or concert. --Battle Events: Where she actually has to use her powers in conjunction with your control of her abilities. It'd be something akin to a 3D battle system most likely, like Power Stone or Smash Bros, with elements of KOF/GG/BB perhaps. This is where you could possibly play your friends and compare girlfriends. There'd also be action game and story elements in these type of events to further the main story. Think GG-Boost-like. Oh yeah, and things like equipping certain weapons would affect their fighting style. --Challenge Events: These can appear anywhere in the above two events usually, or anytime you want them to. Things like drinking/eating contests, beauty contests, task challenges. Basically a large group of unique minigames, possibly something as spread out as Wario Ware. --Passion Events: These would be locked at first, but as you progress, you'd be able to unlock them, and by doing them sometimes unlock a special ability or gain a large stat boost. Somewhat like Challenge events, but not entirely based on your performance in the challenge, hehe. Anyway, that's the ideas I'm working with...I'd go into further detail about the level of customization I'm thinking about, but it's a huge list. One more thing: about the premise for this game...it'd be something like a magical girl (but with somewhat darker elements) who needed the power of her boyfriend to fend off evil or something...yeah I'm corny like that.
  4. No, you don't get it, see...a Vocoder that could replicate that sound would let me make NEW robot voices, not the old ones.
  5. I came across this in my research on Erogames for a project I'm chiseling out, so I wanted to ask you guys if you knew anything about it? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Variable_Geo Here's a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPWTcX1Gwes Truth is, I've been thinking about making a game that's something of a mix between a Fighting Game (nothing too complex), Poke'mon (growth elements/competing elements), a Custom Dating Sim/Hentai Sim where you create a custom girl and have her battle other girls and stuff plus having dating and ero elements on the side. You'd be able to import DLC custom costumes and other things and battle friends online. I dislike the notion of visual novels since it's all reading, so I wanted to do research on different types of games and see what works and what doesn't. Obviously Variable Geo is mostly a fighting game, but it had other elements to it and I was curious. If some of you guys have more knowledge of ero stuff or visual novels and what's good versus what's utter crap, I'd like feedback. Oh yeah, and for those of you who actually play this game, you can talk about it here too.
  6. Seriously, someone needs to help me find a vocoder that sounds like MK Cyberninjas. I want that sound so much.
  7. For some reason your avatar looks like a bubblegum girl...and for some kinky reason that sounds sexy.

  8. I wish I could tell you but A.S.H. and Koichi Seiyama the guys who help put Daisuke's music together don't exactly have a website of their own that I know of.
  9. Aegis, where've you been?
  10. Well clearly there is something vastly different that I am not comprehending in this matchup, because tempestdahlia just j2C'ed all over me. How exactly do you get those pumpkins out so fast and when is the best time to do it?
  11. Trilogy would've been better if they'd have sped up the music on the PSone version. But the A.I. was really retarded regardless. Jump backwards j.P -> A.I. throws projectile Jump forwards -> A.I. does short j.K Walk forwards -> A.I. walks backwards Walk backwards -> A.I. walks forwards lol
  12. I first found it at Gamefaqs, so go there. :)

  13. "Failure is not falling down, but refusing to get up" Litchi was talking about a man's dick when she said that. :P

  14. I just liked the noise they make when running...it's a shame it never made it to later MKs... "RUVIYAVOUT" or somesuch. I wish I knew what frequency they used to vocode that stuff.
  15. I won't lie...I miss MK3 Cyberninja grunts.
  16. Well there's a thing in comic books called "Arcs"...it basically has a saga or story covered by a series of smaller stories. In this case we have "Calamity Trigger+Continuum Shift+????" as the "Ragna=the=Bloodedge Arc" where the core of the story surrounds him. Here's another example: Metal Gear covers the exploits of Solid Snake, however that point diverged as of MGS2: Sons of Liberty. Guns of the Patriots ends the Solid Snake Arc...however Metal Gear Rising will be covering Raiden's exploits. This is a technique which introduces characters in a story yet gives them their own story, it sometimes works, and sometimes doesn't work if not executed properly. I'm betting the next Guilty Gear will revolve around Sin and the next Valentine if you consider how the story has progressed so far.
  17. Thanks for not answering my questions, guys. No seriously, I get in situations where Ragna will force me to use 2C, and getting pumkin out isn't all that easy with his pressure, or maybe I'm just not used to it. Not even sure the best ways to use Pumpkin on Ragna in particular, since most of the time I'm wasting 3 winds or more to put it to use. As for George, it's not just the frog that gets killed...I get hit along with it. X_x
  18. The argument really doesn't speak for the result so much as the process, BB made characters based on likeable themes and had to revise their appeal to be fresh, then built story around that. GG characters had story and theme from the getgo, so building something elaborate to link characters was the challenge. Two different processes.
  19. I'm new to Rachel, since I've been maining Ragna, my main issue is that he'll almost always clash with her 2C and I can't do anything after it, RC isn't safe either. Also what are some good ways to protect George in this fight, Ragna seems to stuff him so easily with ID, HF, 2D, or 5D.
  20. That's not even an upskirt...that's more like up-liederhozen.... D:
  21. Also consider that Guilty Gear Storywriting has evolved over the years. GG: The World Versus Testamant/Justice GGX: Umm...Dizzy? GGX+: Finally something cohesive, but still alternate paths and endings. GGXX: A vocal Track! But still kinda messy. GGXXAC+: Better dialogue and storytelling, but still a few mistakes here and there with how the plot presents itself (visual limitations) GG2 Overture: Not only do we have dialogue, but visual direction and interaction, as well as techniques like dialogue during the interactive parts of the game making battles more engaging. And then...you have BlazBlue: So many things turned on their ear. Key Battle Dialogue: Characters voices change when fighting a certain person, and not just with the intro or victory quotes. Even more cohesive interaction: Characters have more solidarity in how they interact, and even the parts that are completely made up (Tao's "lie"/Golden Tager) have some type of direction. There's even a timeline of sorts going on in the background of the events. Emotional Dialogue/Visual Novel Aspects: More immersion with characters not only having talking faces and poses, but also the ability to make choices with alternate and true endings only available after certain endings are achieved (Litchi's true ending can't be seen unless you beat Arakune's for example). Anyway, the point is, as far as plot devices go, brainwashing is kinda half-baked, so don't take it too seriously...same goes for when Dizzy fought Robo-Order-Sol.....not really a good plot device right there.
  22. Undecided? More like I don't know what the heck this game is about except that it looks like a beta for World Heroes???
  23. He's speaking in Arakune's language, lol
  24. Hmm, for all intents and purposes, any form of brainwashing Robo-Ky did was temporary at best, as everything post GGXX that happened in AC+ doesn't seem to involve any form of brainwashing. In fact, at that point, A.B.A. was in Crow's pseudo-employ, and he was working on Robo-tempkin/Justice copy so I don't think manipulation was necessary.
