My problem with Super Jump Install combos is that once I'm in Super Jump state, I either press 9 or 7 by accident (instead of straight up 8) and I drop the combo cuz I'm either too far away or too close for combos to hit properly. It's not that I can't do them, I just have trouble "aiming my jumps". As for Level 1 BRP on the ground, I've only used it for Guard Strings at best. I usually just use it as an air ender. The trouble with that is ending combos in j.D from j.P/j.K and such, otherwise I just use jH, jD, jH, jD. Or substitute jS for jH in some situations/characters.

I'm having a hard time with this, but Level 1 BRP is almost impossible to combo in to for me. Can someone tell me what basic combos I can use it in (basic, i.e. no Jump Install please)?

I'll do some scrounging on where they can be found and let you know. Thanks for considering.

ElvenShadow, since you're in Japan 365 days a year or something, do the fans a favor and track down whoever does those Guilty Gear and BlazBlue Dakimakura (sp?) Pillow covers, you know the ones (Valentine/Noel/Rachel etc)...most are at comikets and such at limited editions and whatever. Buy em and scan em for the community or something. I'm sure plenty of guys here would be willing to reimburse you.

Okay well, I hate to say it, but I don't think I'll have time (or a PC with photoshop) to make larger quality versions of those GG Adhoc Network artworks you unlock. If anyone else has a screen-capture plugin, GGXXAC+, go to Gamefaqs and get the gamesave that unlocks everything, then take screencaps of the artwork and photoshop it together. If you do that, you'll make a lot of people happy. You misunderstand where I usually start a combo like this, usually it's midscreen and I have 2 maybe 3 magatama tops, I'm trying to head towards the corner for the loop, its a frequent situation for me.

Hey, well, I had hopes someone could use that info and make a proper website, but I haven't had anyone ask for use of it lately. Thing is, I've wanted to put together a compendium of lore info, but not having GG2 hurts that plan. I'm also of the mind to make an Overture quote FAQ, despite the dub, but again, not having a PC doesn't help. As for being 'complete', the Project FAQ is as done as it'll ever be, GG.ru has a copy of it. I want to have some transcripts made for all the drama CDs, GGXXAC+ Story Mode, and GG2 Script, GG2 Guide stories, and a translation for both existing novels as well. Its hard to find a dedicated GG translator who isn't busy with other stuff. That, and I've got my hands full with life problems like everyone else. If there's more you need to know regarding this just ask, I need ample help completeing GGXAE Team Quotes yet.

For most people, fighting games aren't pick-up-and-play. You either want to learn for the sake of aesthetics (skill) or pride (competition). Sometimes a good teacher or example makes all the difference. I started playing way back when MK3 hit its zenith in arcades and Kabal was broken but a fan favorite. I used to simply enjoy watching players throw out complex combos and never knowing how they did them. Later on I was sad arcades were dying, but I found a magazine article about Guilty Gear and liked the art. I never was 'good' at old GG, but a rival of mine got me hooked on training in GGX. Of course, if fighting games were shown to people as something anyone could learn, you'd see more people play. The competition can scare people, and even decent players hit skill walls sometimes. Try showing what you can do with each character and let them decide if they'd like to learn.

Alright so, what is 'advanced input' anyway? And assuming I made it to the corner after the airdash and assuming I landed the 2nd j2C ( kishu, 2C hjc j2C airdash j2C then -- ?) what do I need to go into the loop?

Guys I'm having a hard time starting and maintaining airdash combos that go to the corner. Example: 6B(CH), 5C, 236A-623A(dash), 2C, jc , j2C Airdash -- ??? I've seen people go straight into j2C loop with this, but I don't know how as they tech after airdash for me. In addition I'd like to know how many reps you can do and how to maintain the loop.

If its a PS2 game from PSN, do you really need the emotion engine? I've only seen PSone games (including JP GG) on PSN.

Maybe they'll do another online questionnaire like they did for GGXXAC and let us vote in our favorite colors after a few more installments.
