I got a question: years ago I saw a HUGE writeup justifying each character in their placement in the tiers in GGXXAC, offense capability, defense ability, move rank, stats, the works (I think it might've been Gwyrgyn Blood who wrote it but I could be wrong). Will we see something like that for these BB Tierlists?

Unfortunately I didn't bring a TV with me, so I can't claim to have stolen yours. :V I'm still missing my wireless PS3 controller, so we're in similar boats. (Woocash, you pmed me asking for a description but never got back to me, WHERE ARE YOUUUUUU????).

Not gonna lie, I didn't make a full transition from GG to BB, I basically set the controls like this: P = A (Square) K = B (Ex) S = C (Triangle) H = D (Circle) D = Throw (R1) Roman Cancel = Rapid Cancel (R2) Taunt = Taunt (L2) Other = Burst (L1) That said, my GG inputs aren't too different from my BB ones in the long run, but everyone has their custom setups (especially Stick players who play Carl/Eddie/Arakune/Zappa). That's key to getting comfortable with learning a character. Also, for Rachel clone, closest I can think of is Dizzy, Faust, or May, but you might like Testament too.

Here's hoping Alex and Hugo get a turn next time. I want my Hulkomania VS Andre the Giant back.

I'm not sure if that's the correct term for this but I see Nineball and other high level players do this all the time. The slightest stray clean hit leads to a combo, even if it's not a counter-hit....and in particular stuff that lands into light 2k air combos. Ragna (as an example since I play other characters too): But I see stuff like airdash j.C>j.D, land ground combo or stuff that starts off j.A or 5A random jabbiness. They use it and turn it into a 3k combo like it's nobody's business. Maybe I just have trouble physically understanding the concept of spacing, but I get hit by these alot, and I can't seem to block any of that mess since they jab like crazy till it hits and once it hits even once I'm screwed. I try to keep people at a distance and manage them with standard normals, but once they get up close they win with jabs or if I start using jabs they win with their other normals. It's part mind-game part priority knowledge, I'm aware of that. I guess, I want to know how best to handle this mess, what to do if I manage to IB something, and in my own way, learn how to do stuff like this myself to up my game. Especially the latter since my offense seems to get nulled a lot by barrier blocking.

lol that would be funny if Gilgamesh had to get HIT by Sephiroth's Shadow Flare just to learn the skill.

I didn't see any mention of Gilgamesh using Blue Magic but...here's hoping he doesn't have Mighty Guard (Haste+Shell+Protect). But if you wanna get technical, Sephiroth uses Shadow Flare, which IS Blue Magic (aka Enemy Skill Materia).

The problem with Jecht is, the timing of the first hit is somewhere between an FRC and mashing...at least for me. Once I get the first hit to combo, the rest will either end in a Brave Chase or a lucky HP attack ender. I still miss Jecht Block's hitbox from JP Dissidia, backhanding people into mooncraters was fun. In the original FFV, Gilgamesh had something like 12 weapons at his disposal, rotating through them over time. I don't know if he'll switch off between tossing weapons or do something like Bartz is doing, but I'm looking forward to it. Afterall, my username IS "Mimeblade". Also hoping Enkidu (Gil's partner) and Yojimbo make an appearance.
