  1. Washing machine avvie? lol!

  2. All I want to know is, are the sprites as big as BlazBlue's or as tiny as Arcana Heart's? :O
  3. I'd rather you keep a look out for decent quality GG fanart than half the twisted stuff you normally see.

  4. I'm all for Tohou, really. I'm a fan. I love danmaku. But with all the crap art you've been spewing lately, yer killin' me man, yer killin' me.

  5. Jesus Fucking Christ, Tsuki, knock it off, please.
  6. Well, if I knew a thing or two about coding, CLSN, and sprite FX, I could work on it, if I had a team willing to show me the ropes. I haven't gotten off the ground very far with Darkside-Ky or Darkside-Jin yet, mainly because my sprite edits are far from done and I really don't have much experience doing sprite edits either.
  7. I have a question: Is it okay to request multiple things and have the artist pick what they'd like to do and not really specify an artist per se? Not saying I'd go overboard, but I've got a monster GG VS BB fanart wishlist I've been dying to get out there.
  8. I'm gonna say, I don't care if it's hitbox accurate, so long as it's combo and movelist accurate.
  9. To clarify, PWAB tends to function via various hidden bases around the world. They've done everything from making Robo-replicants, analyzing Ki data, attempted exceeding the 12 Steps of Magic Chords (created Forbidden Magic), modified humans in to Gears (Testament), and also have ties to the Assassin's Syndicate and U.N. as well as Old World Zepp. Ky says they should have disbanded (I'm assuming he says this due to their inhumane practices), but it should be noted that one of the head figures of PWAB is Crow who is suspected to be a former criminal from Dimensional Prison, so it's safe to assume a lot of shady characters are members of this "corrupt" organization. I think it's also quite possible that military factions have utilized PWABs resources in the past, regarding Dr. Paracelsus (A.B.A.'s creator being abducted by the military), and they may be responsible for a lot of the "war relics" that were created (Flament Nagel). As of now, the Syndicate has waged all-out war with PWAB, so there will be something big going down in the next GG installment.
  10. I'm not sure but, to list a few Calamity Trigger Option Selects I've heard of: B+C+(D first) during Bang or Haku-men's moves could break you out of throws. I don't think that applies to Continuum Shift anymore though. And though it's not really an Option Select, whenever character's clash with eachother (offset), they're given a free normal or special or DD cancel window. In some moves with a lot of recovery frames (Jin's 623C), if it clashes with something like Ragna's Inferno Divider, if you held 2+C after the input, you could punish Ragna if he decides to mash ID. It's kindof a pre-emptive holding of buttons. I think Carl has quite a few things he can do in that regard as well, since he's the only character who can Barrier-airdash, and do other things through Negative Edge.
  11. This here be Blade country, and though I will not partake, I don't mind if you have beer and cheese and brats, just don't puke on my fighting game collection. I've been in Milwaukee, Whitefish Bay, Greenbay, Eu Claire, Waukesha, Laona (backwoods), Iron Mountain, Rudolf, Steven's Point, and very rarely Madison, Racine, and Kenosha. Though I'm mostly centered towards Milwaukee. You name it, I've probably got it. Samurai Showdown Anthology, Last Blade Anthology, SVC Chaos, CVS2, MVC2, HNK, RF, F/UC, SSHC, SC2, SC4, NGBC (no load time), MBAA, KOFMI2, and a crapton of Japanese games and shmups (even have a vertical monitor). As of now, I have every single PS2 Guilty Gear game in existence (X+, Korean #R, Isuka, Slash, AC+) , and will be getting BBCS quite soon. So I'm hyped for that. I warn you, I'm a sore loser, so be prepared to play several hours in training mode with me if you're considerably better in skill. Also, to be clear, Chicago, despite being big, is nowhere near me, so Frosty Faustings is unlikely an event to visit. I might consider setting up a table at Midwest Gaming Classic or something, if they allow mods that is. Otherwise we'll just have to set something up. I know a good place that rents out big screen TVs for a rather cheap price too. Don't even ask me about Guitar Hero, DDR, or Halo...I will flatout reject you.
  12. Never use Babelfish. lol

  13. What's the british word for "lol XD"?

  14. I think I'll wait for Phase 2 of the betas before I download anything, just so they get the kinks out... Meanwhile, I still really need to finish remaking all of Ky's sprites from GG:TML into a GGXX style. Lots of things to fix and reconstruct and I don't think I have as great a skill with sprites as I first thought.
  15. YOU BLOODY TWIT! Stop calling people bloody twits. :O

  16. Blade

Nevermind, I found the template you posted in the Joystick Thread. I'm hoping to make a Sixaxis custom design based on it.

  17. Blade

Can you tell me where I can find fragments of the BlazBlue stick template you made? I want to see about making a custom job based on those designs.

  18. Wow, what is your beef with me anyway?

  19. Well, my theory on Saya goes like dis: She, like her siblings (yes siblings) Ragna and Jin are quite possibly all boundary contact mediums (artificially created humans meant to explore the boundary) but somehow came in contact with the Azure early on and became sentient. This is why the world outside Hierachical cities has little affect on Ragna himself, and Jin has an immunity to his Nox Nyctores. Anyway, they are taken in by a church, as some means of trying to hide the fact they are not humans (meat puppets as Hazama likes to put it). However, something regarding Saya's contact with the boundary causes her to become sick. It's quite possible that her sickness showed a huge spike of power on everyone's EADAP (such as how Ragna shows up as a blip with his Azure Grimoire). As such, the Library orders Hazama to come and ransack the place looking for this phenomenon. Because of Jin's nature, he is easily manipulated by Hazama. Hazama being the sadist he is, lops off Ragna's arm to show how worthless his attempts at being human are. He takes Jin and Saya possibly to Sector 7 for research, while Jubei and Rachel find Ragna. Saya seems to be heavily influenced by something in the boundary which causes her eyes to turn red (a possible sign of the Azure, similar to Ragna), and her hair to turn purple. Her "sickness" is probably something akin to her body trying to reject being taken over by "something", and as a result becoming the sworn enemy of the Master Unit, as well as being elected to become the Imperator of the NOL. Something prevents her from going into the boundary directly, so she creates a series of copies of herself (Murakumo) designed to be unnaffected by the Azure (notice Noel's eyes are normally green but only turn blue instead of red when she becomes Mu-12) but instead created to harness its destructive power. As far as Noel's existence being that of one who inherits the "eyes of the azure", she is immortal, like Rachel, but also whenever various people physically touch her, she is given prophetic visions of the past and possibly the future of that person, this probably also has much to do with her status as a boundary contact medium, and also why Rachel told her not to "look" at Hazama. So in essence you have two sides to the Azure...those who are changed by it (Saya, Arakune), and those who can control it (Ragna, Hazama, Nu, Noel), but there is a third side, and this probably relates to Jin being called the Anti-body. An existence that is a natural enemy to the Azure Grimoire, something immune to the affects of Ars Magus and quite possibly the true meaning of the word "boundary contact medium". Anyway, that's my theory.
  20. Empty_Vessel, that kind of slow, deliberate, unpredictable guardstring method tends to drive me nuts on defense, thanks for talking about it. Likewise though, could you mention what someone on defense should do against slow-gatling players? A counter-measure out of pressure perhaps?
  21. As long as Jin has a brother complex, Ragna is his brother. I think that speaks volumes.
  22. Do you know anyone who does custom Sixaxis D-pads?

  23. The thing is, if it's information, it's information, if the source is official there's no reason to doubt it, whether it was released before or after the original information was given even if it's additive. The reason I said my example is that most characters have a normal profile in GG while some do not and don't have an extensive amount of information. Does that change the fact that they're canonical, not at all. Raven has next to zero information to go on, yet he's still an established character. Some information only just appeared recently because it was necessary for consistency, does that make added information illegitimate. Not if the source is legitimate. I'm not arguing your reason for the argument, I'm just saying that's how characters tend to develop as a game's plot progresses.
  24. Honestly that's like saying a GG character isn't canonical just because he doesn't have a PWAB profile. It's absurd.
  25. One thing I've noticed lately is the ability to turn someone's attempt at mixup into a mixup of their own. Jin seems especially good at this. One thing I'm having a hard time understanding is reaction time. There's a lot of points where I should be able to slip in attacks while blocking someone else's mixup but am just not fast enough. Things like Jin's 5A 6B, I can't seem to predict in time or deal with without being forced to block it. Or I get in close and get hit with 5A. Other things, like Ragna's 2A not being fast enough to come out, or Haku-men's 2A that can out-range you and switch to D moves. Does this have to do with advantage on block?
