  1. Dude, trust me, I do. But tell me, how am I to approach someone who can block all my attacks on reaction? Go and learn the game, then I'll explain everything to you, because you don't know the first thing about Arakune besides getting your ass whooped by him.
  2. That has nothing to do with a player being able to block the whole thing. Don't know about you or your scene Funky, but I play people who actually know how to block. Tempest, shut the fuck up.
  3. There's a high possibility they would fuck up blocking, nothing inevitable. Besides, I'd just like for his precurse to be not trash.
  4. He shouldn't have mix up in curse? Curse gain has been nerfed. Curse damage have been nerfed. So, what? Mix up now? Fucking scrubs need to learn how to block before they go wishing Arakune's only saving grace becomes useless.
  5. "Better options" Like what? Prey tell.
  6. I've seen people block a full Kune curse mixup. One of our local players can do that, he like our equivalent to Coopa, Tager player too. Arakune's overheads don't get any faster in curse, it's really a case of being tedious and hoping they fuck up blocking, we have our instant j.c, but that's it. And really my concern for his overheads is precurse, they're so slow only a netplayer can't react to them, and instant j.c is useless precurse.
  7. It is when you play online. Nigga I don't know, I think they're just drawing straws and hoping for the best.
  8. I'm not either, it's quite simple. Slow jump isn't good for an aerial character. f of g is fucking great now. We still have curse combos without loops, just take one rep from every loop he has and end it with a j.c loop. We can't win the match off of a lucky curse plus mix up, very appropriate. My verdict, he's still good but overall worse, now if his overheads were a bit faster, I'd be cool with him as is, but he's likely going to receive some more changes by the 9th of December. And it's pretty easy for someone who don't know the slightest thing about Arakune to call him broke, because you don't know how to fight him, he's mid tier. A- at best, if his precurse game wasn't trash, then that would change everything.
  9. Stop posting Tempest. MikeZ got 66 consecutive wins with Tager in CT, his full potential was unlocked in Socal.
  10. I just hope that 6f jump won't screw up his air combos and dive loops, assuming dive loops are staying with conviction. I have no problem with blocking, however I would like to jump out if they leave a hole like that.
  11. He doesn't use his legs to walk, but um, how about dat topic?
  12. It'd be a mighty shame if they were all broken. Let's hope pachi knows better. Keep 'em coming.
  13. Get over it. He's not trash tier. Plus Arakune doesn't have legs.
  14. Jump start up is how fast they jump, most characters has 4 frames. Jin had 5. Litchi and Arakune had 3. Until now. Ara for slowest character all day.
  15. Jin has mix up now.
  16. Well, think of it this way, even if it was blockable, in the same situation, they would just jump. It's a minor balance detail, it's still comboable and still gives 100% curse. I'm good.
  17. :p Oh well. Still useful now. But dat slow jump.
  18. So that means that it's blockable?
  19. Actually, f of g did 30 percent, even if you could gimmick into it, the reward was ass.
  20. It's bees, a loop will be found. Hell I concocted this janky ass 2c loop once, maybe we could use that if the d bug's speed doesn't fuck it up. And if all else fails...
  21. Arakune in all situations is better off zoning Tager. But if you do need to get close, 5a > 6b is good, IAD j.4b is good too. Arakune's air game isn't really free anymore, so you'll need to watch your ass vs Tager. Never dive outside a combo unless your opponent is cursed. But in most of the match should be you zoning Tager.
  22. Before I answer, you are aware that this is the CT thread, right?
  23. I said comboability. As in combo. Not lock down. Combo. Plus f of g does too little damage for me to use meter, since it's in curse, I wouldn't be doing it for the curse meter. The super was useless until this loctest, the fact that there are places where he could use it before, doesn't amount to the incentive to do it.
  24. Fixed.
  25. Wouldn't it be funny if he was? On a serious note, I'd love to know exactly how the logic of f of g comboability works. Does it activate on downed opponent? Or do some move have more stun to lead into it now?
