Fast recurses, extremely good curse pressure, nice movement and use of invisibility. Good zoning, good offense, I really like what I saw here, today. Almost an hour of Arakune footage. Situations where the opponent is conditioned to 2d traps. It's the variety that matters.

I don't think that frame traps into 5d and 2d are interchangeable. More traps, more options.

5d (1) Ch > DS has worked in previous games.

I also think that some attacks increase the combo time.

No it doesn't in the slightest. It does explain the incentive to use D moves in a combo despite the nerfed proration.
