Most people will assume that it's an execution error, but Arakune recovers first and can start pressure, upon success, the next 2c will knock them into the bell bug and then the rest is self explanatory. This could be more practical than it looks.
  4. Because I really really think that air catch is waaay faster than ground catch. Mu's animation barely progresses after flash. So it's not frame 1, but I'm thinking along the lines of like frame 3 or so. Enough time for a DP or OD activation, but not mashing.
  5. Was it executed on reaction, or was the move already active before flash?
  6. I want to see an attack that's not a DP or an OD activation hit Bang when he tries to catch an airborne foe.

  12. Maybe it's just me, but the DD seems faster when catching airborne opponents, similar to his normal command grab. If that's the case, only a small handful of characters are safe from it and that's assuming they aren't attacking when it all goes down.
  13. I think Azrael will have a disadvantageous match up against characters with generally fast attacks, like Makoto, Tao, Tsubaki, Bang and the like. Thoughts?
  14. I been theory fighting that reset since I learned that; The air version is nigh unavoidable. OD gives it almost twice as much damage. You can simply react to the tech with FRKZ > DD. I see no reason why you can't. It's better as a reactive reset in contrast to a proactive reset, even though in this case it worked as one.

  17. Yes, D nails lost some beneficial angles with that change, but it gained so much more. I think it's a buff that simply challenges the comfort of it stopping momentum for 4 years. Once everyone gets used to it, it'll be a huge buff to Bang's pressure.
  18. I personally don't think it's that useful, A nail specifically. The benefit from pressure that includes A nails is that Bang keeps his momentum.
  19. That assumes they ever tried. Pachi I hear is in charge of gameplay, and Hazama is his very own design. Makes a lot of sense.

  23. But then they haven't been using FRKZ either. I don't know, again my first order of business is to satisfy any prerequisites I need to in order to compromise my opponent's moving space. Simple strategy. Effective strategy.
  24. 2d maybe. Might be character/positioning specific, because it would involve * > 6d > j.236c. On the subject of seals, why aren't Bang players hustling for them the way they used to? I know my agenda is first and foremost to grab seals so when I got meter, I get real estate with it. Is it some bit about honor or not being cheap?
