  1. i just replicated the first tager combo and i've gotta say it's pretty useful too. for 2 stars it does minimum 3496 (that's if you just spam 2c till you can't) you can actually do a falling c to 5c like in the vid but i couldn't do it. trick to doing this is tecking fast and doing hotaru super fast, and then remember to jump cancel, grab a sandwich, and 2c forevaaa (it's like 8 hits or something ridiculous, the last hit did 115 cuz of proration!) im gonna try to do it in a match now.... lawl.

  3. i do it when i remember. i never get thrown out of my counters though. It's always because i do it slightly too early ( i don't use 5d, only 2d) which is really lame. I hope that the active frames get extended a ilttle bit.... :\ (like at least match up visually? ._.) then i eat a CH combo. i have this problem most with ragna, which is my absolute worst match-up. (I'd rather fight Nu than him. but not arakune.... :\)
  4. i don't know if anyone noticed this (probably did) but countering clouds kills them, so if arakune makes a cloud go on you on wake-up you can counter (which is slightly useful imo)
  5. even a single super jump easily goes over yukikaze. then you have a double jump if you're an idiot. then you have allegretto. lol. a lot of people don't understand that yukikaze's hitbox isn't THAT vertical.
  6. the new DLC pack. i think it looks weird because i feel like the throat is flesh lol. if you're asking from what game/franchise i have no clue.

  9. I can attest that it work with 2d :D btw can someone explain to me how to effectively use option select with haku's counter? like when, where it applies, where it does not? I'm pretty new to fighting games (started with SF4) so yah... thanks :D

  11. hey carl people! after playing random matches in player match i've decided to sub carl! unfortunately i'll have to make a new psn since i've already reached lvl 55 ._. but anyways, i'm having a little bit of trouble not de-activating nirvana during the standard ground loop. (2a-5a-5b-6b-paunch) thing is i'm using the ps3 controller with analog stick. anyone here use ps3 controller that has a certain way they keep nirvana active? (my thumb isn't near large enough to get X and triangle....)
  12. Oh. But permanent IS a nice idea don't cha think? Also what i'd like is that you can turn it off and how many stars you have left, you keep half of them or something. or N-1. That'd be useful if they burst :D But as a balance there's recovery to turning it off so it's only useful after a burst xD (unless they have a long range super :|
  13. But man that'd be like, ridiculously crazy. If it was permanent than his pressure would absolutely be the best (there are like no holes lol) maybe if they changed his star meter to hold two stocks of 8 stars, and mugen costed 16 stars for permanent? that'd be nice. cuz i know blood kain and fu-rin-kazan allow for some ridiculous combos o_O
  14. I think they need to change mugen in some way... like you can turn it on and off but it's able to be turned on and off within the combo. (besides the initial boot) either that or make some kind of weird effect where the moves can link into each other like CRAZILYas in each move will chain into itself and others infinitely, so it's viable to bait a burst. Of course that'd be relatively OP but.... meh :D
  15. No no no i'm not trying to say mugen is a good thing. I'm just discussing it within the boundaries of 4r5's situation. I NEVER use Mugen unless it's just a random player match and i do it for the lulz. Your argument against mugen is totally fine and makes sense. I'm not trying to debunk it :[

  19. well think about it this way. If you're in Mugen there's no harm in trying :D might as well yukikaze even if it's not super. and you can pull off a double yukikaze if they try to atk you while landing :D
  20. yes it does. But if you're in mugen doing super counter - shippu will yield a bit more damage. (unless you can follow-up? you might be able to follow-up super counter with zantetsu-guren and then stuff.) i dunno though o_O

  22. Sorry but that argument is just so over-played. The fact is, that no one should have to put MORE effort to win a match. At least not as much as it takes for a tager and hakumen vs top 3. It's just not right.
  23. Yes it did survive, but imagine the depth if all the characters were relatively equal!! It'd be an AMAZING game, don't you agree? and plus, with BlazBlue currently only sporting 12 characters, the balance should be well, balanced, since there are less characters it would be easier, and more quality time can be spent to balance it. and plus i can't see them balancing it all the way to hell and back. it'd probably only be smaller things, not something ridiculous like a Nu sword bar.
  24. I LOOOVEEE litchi's long combos they're so awesome i get like 3 stars each time and then i just counter when they try to pressure in corner and own for 40%+ lol. <3 litchi :D and yeah that's weird as heck. I'd think you could do all kind of crap on 'em like the 6a loop on tager as haku lol.
  25. Like I said earlier, buffing the bottom tier people would make their already fair match-ups slightly more lop-sided. It's like the top-tier are a canker. You don't blow up your thumb bigger to make the canker seem non-existant. You CUT THE DAM CANKER.
