This was another really fun night- dare I say even more fun than the last? :O In case you missed it, Tad entered GOD MODE tonight, Naimat played Jin better than he can Bang, Astaroth played ballsier than I've ever seen, and Falcon proved there's a new and legit Ragna on the block. Good games all around. Hope we get the chance at some more of these before next MTN. :D

Why didn't you say so in the first place? :P Welcome! Like Milln said, there are a couple guys in Memphis (Cyner/Azurephoenix) who can never seem to make it up, I'd imagine because of gas/distance. You should definitely talk to them about it. If you're planning on coming up anyway, you might be able to split gas prices by coming up together. By the way, do you have XBL? And out of curiosity, who do you main?

This is sounding more and more badass. I really hope the arcade delivers. If it does, I know my vote's gonna be to hold 2012 MTN's there.

The TN BB scene isn't dying- it's just going through some complications. >.> But Tad and Astaroth are right. I don't know what I'd do if our scene died out. Whatever happens with the venue, even if it's further away for me, I'll always do my best to make it. I hope we do what Tad suggested and have a group discussion about the future of MTN over dinner.

Nah, I'll still make it Milln. A competition is a competition. I appreciate you taking new venues into consideration for next year. I can handle the arcade for the last two MTN's of 2011.

Well I hate awkward moments when I'm by myself.

Star- Unless you mean the Viewlix, no- I've personally talked to the owner of the arcade via e-mail about the possibility of a CSII arcade machine and he shot me down. He said that the CT machine didn't really draw in much of a crowd and that's why they sold it, but if I wanted to split the bill and have a revenue split then we could talk. Obviously I couldn't do that, being a college student and all. I have enough trouble saving money to make it up to MTN's as it is. XD Astaroth- AE can't be too bad because they have the whole front of the arcade and two sides to watch/play from with the cabinets. MK has an arcade machine too, although I'm not sure if it's used for tournaments since I don't know if updates are available for it. And while Marvel is probably a good comparison for the BB scene, it isn't a contest to see which scene can be the most uncomfortable. Maybe I'm just not good with large crowds or something. I don't know how you handled that last week, Astaroth. :P

Having tournaments in Game Galaxy has always felt cramped to me, and since they're inevitably going to be moving more machines into the arcade, we're probably looking at less space than ever before. Consequently, there's no way we're going to have room for as many T.V.'s as we're used to, which is few as it is. Factor in all the noise of arcade machines (which is distracting on top of screwing with any possible commentary), the lack of privacy, the absence of chairs (or, rather, room for them), and the deficiency of a 720p T.V. for decent recording and it just isn't the same. I'm all up for supporting Game Galaxy and the arcade scene in general, but it might be time to think about a venue change Milln. I'm expecting accommodations in the arcade to be the worst they've ever been. I'm not saying it's something that ABSOLUTELY needs to happen since I'm not sure if anyone else feels the same way, and there haven't been any tournaments since the machines were moved back, so it's hard to tell exactly how bad it'll be. It's just something I'd like you to consider.
