Just wanted to thank the platinum players here for the help. I've gotten better. I just streamed about 5 hours of BBCS2 with a lot of Platinum play. I'm starting to understand her offense. Having an easy to go to overhead from her normal blockstring is nice, and it's +1 on block, too, so if I 5a afterwards I have a 5 frame jab! Aww yeah.

As some of you might know, I'm a pretty passive player, at least until I get some sort of read. May Platinum also reflects that, since I feel most of the time I'm just blocking and trying to get the right item. At the moment right now, I'm having trouble pressuring people with good blockstrings, and thus my mixup is fairly weak. I was wondering if anyone had some pretty good blockstrings in mind already that lead to some sort of mixup. At the moment, I'm trying to do 2a, 2a, 5a, 5b, 2b 5c jump cancel swallow moon -> whiff j.c to low as a mixup, but the scary part for me is the transition from 5c to swallow moon. Any tips on blockstrings, mixups, or anything to help Platinum get better pressure?

Hi, I was wondering what the Platinum HQ thinks of Platinum versus Hazama and Platinum versus Arakune. Pretty much zoners in general. Is it 6-4 for both? 5-5? Can you tell me your reasons why and what I can do to win the matchup? I'm mainly a Tager player, but I really want to learn platinum specifically for these matchups. I'm wondering if it's worth my time. Having a blast playing Platinum anyway though.

I'm not sure if I can make it to the 21st, but if I can, I would like to money match willy with my Platinum first to 5 for 10 dollars: HAZAMA only. I want to see if this matchup is worth it. That said, Chun, I need to talk to you, so please contact me sometime later this week, but not today, since I'm busy recording videos.

Tone, I just want to say, drop Hazama or sub him. Platinum has marvel-pressure when the opponent is in the corner. I can show you if you watch the stream.

We should start at 4pm, but I will hold it until 4:30. I figure that will be enough time for people floating in and brackets being made. Last thing I want is for me to make brackets though. Sorry, but I really want to just get the stream up and ready, and I will be focusing on that, since this one event, though small, is big for IPW.

I'll start streaming at 4. I can delay the tournament for one hour, but please, please, please be here at 5pm. Tager doesn't feel the same to me though. The IB nerf feels really bad.

So, I have my blazblue cs ps3 case, but not the game inside. Last time I checked, the game was inside when I switched the stream to the Arcana Heart 3 game. I took out the bbcs disc and put it into the case. Uh, is there anyone with two copies of bbcs for some odd reason? I'm pretty sure the spare is mine. Got home at like 5:40am, so I'm going back to sleep. Really tired.
