  1. You are knocked down and the Ragna player isn't running forward like a retard, waiting to see where you will tech. Wat do?
  2. Eh, dash then immediately move your hand from the movement pad. Like, don't keep pressing the 6 or 4 when you dash. Same technique as THrow > Dash > 2C. I think we should try to reorganize this thread, adding the combos to Goryos' nice opening posts. It would make it easier to read than going over the entire thread. I might do it myself when I have time actually, but will I be allowed to start a new thread?
  3. This is kinda like fagbook's wall chattin. >=V

  4. When you can, add me on PSN. Also, I'd prefer if I am notified via a PM here incase a date has been determined, if that won't be too much of a bother. Thanks in advance.

  5. Dat Ass Also, add me on psn. Hurr

  6. It's easy to make mistakes against Tager, and if it's against a decent tager, it can cost you the match. My advice for tagers, if you ever get a chance to corner Nus, stick to a mix between pokes and throws. Also, your backdash is awesome, use it. But since this isn't Tager vs Nu, maybe I should give some advice for the nu players here. Ehh..... I am sure someone said it before, but Gravity Field is pretty good to use against tagers. Beware of High Jumping > jC > jGuard/j2C tagers. His jC boosts him forward a bit (mini airdash).
  7. Ok man. I added you yesterday.

  8. Whenever I tried to 2C his air approaches, I often get beaten by his C. Am I screwing the timing, or is his jC unbeatable by 2c? Also, I felt that spamming 6D over hakumens will force them to hop forward most of the time, in which case a timely 5D can stop him in his tracks. Beware of him rolling towards you after a combo though. This matchup is trickier than it seems :S
  9. Beginner tips If you see him dashing towards you while you are on the ground, roll to his other side, not backwards. Don't backdash a lot against Bang, he might use 3C after his combos, which will catch you while you recover. Instead, IAD back. Bang's anti-air options are less than great. If he pursues, then use a cerscent saber. You can also j2d or jd as soon as you IAD back depending on his stance. finishing a combo with a gravity field is often better against bangs (But only when they are knocked down). You don't want them moving that much. If he blocks your swords or 5c with one of his counter moves you can act pulsar out of the way before he teleports and stuffs your ass with a flaming gauntlet. Bang's nails > you, don't push your luck when he is using the D nails.
  10. For those who are new to Nu, fighting Jin can prove to be a real hassle. Keep your cool and counter his offensive accordingly. Don't leave many openings in your guard once he is close as he might D you on a moment's notice. Against ice cars (except A version), block the first hit then tap back to instant block the sword swing. After that you can 2C 6C then act pulsar for distance or 236D into RC for some pain. You don't need to IB to counter the C icecar, but it's not easy to differentiate between the two on a moment's notice so it's safer to just IB both (It's easier than eating cake). Corner pressure: 3C is your friend. If he jumps a lot go under him or 2C. If he doesn't jump much then Barrier until he is at a good distance then 5c or 3c. Beware of his D if he is pushed back beyond his normal range. Also, if you happen to punish an icecar happy Jin (usually a scrub), they usually roll backward into another icecar. Don't hang back in this case and dash forward for another 5DD as soon as he lands on the ground. Keep him locked down and guessing instead of the other way around!
